Look, I’ve stayed in my share of Cannes apartments, and this place on Rue Jean de Riouffe honestly surprised me. You know how sometimes you book something that looks decent online and then show up to find it’s… well, not what you expected? This was the opposite. The building itself is typical Cannes – that classic French architecture you see throughout the city center – but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone actually cares about this place.

The location thing is real, by the way. I mean, 50 meters from the Palais des Festivals sounds like marketing speak, but I literally timed it – took me about 45 seconds to walk there in flip-flops. During the film festival chaos in May, that’s basically priceless. But even if you’re not here for the glitz, you’re right in the thick of everything that matters. The Marché Forville is maybe a three-minute walk (perfect for morning coffee and pastries), and you can hit the beach at Plage du Palais without working up a sweat. What I really appreciated was how you’re close enough to the action but tucked away on a side street, so you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of La Croisette traffic.

The apartment itself sleeps six comfortably – and I actually mean comfortably, not that cramped situation where someone’s stuck on a questionable pull-out couch. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re planning to grab fresh seafood from the market or just want to make coffee without hunting down a café every morning. Honestly, the whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a rental. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s those little details that add up. Good water pressure in the shower, decent Wi-Fi, windows that actually keep the street noise to a minimum (crucial in this part of town). Parking can be a bit of a dance, like anywhere in central Cannes, but there’s a public garage nearby on Rue du Commandant André, and the hosts seem pretty good about giving you the real scoop on where to leave your car. I’d definitely book this again, especially if I was traveling with family or a group of friends who wanted to be right in the center without paying resort prices.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Cannes at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak May festival season when the city hosts its world-famous cinema celebrations.

  Excellent location and beautiful interior of the apartment. The owner was really helpful and accommodated all needs.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing If I have to say was a bit inconvenient was that there was no lift and the apartment was located on the third floor with narrow stairs which made it difficult with luggages.

  L'appartement est très bien situé, à proximité des commerces et de la Croisette. Une boulangerie à 50m, restaurants variés, parking du palais et plage à 5 minutes à pieds.
  Chaque chambre a sa salle d'eau et ses propres toilettes.
  Refait à neuf et de bon goût.
