Honestly, when I first walked into this place on avenue des Hespérides, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, the name is basically just a practical description, right? But you know what, sometimes the most straightforward places surprise you the most. This two-bedroom apartment sits right in the heart of Pointe Croisette, and I’m talking literally 100 meters from the beach. Not “walking distance” or “close to the sea” – actually 100 meters. You can hear the waves from the terrace if you listen carefully, especially in the evening when the Croisette traffic dies down.

The terrace is where this place really shines, and I spent way more time out there than I planned. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for morning coffee or that pre-dinner drink while you’re deciding between the beach clubs or heading into old town Cannes. The two bedrooms are well laid out – one’s clearly the master with better light, the other works great for kids or if you’re traveling with friends who don’t mind a slightly smaller space. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being so close to everything. You’re far enough from the main Croisette chaos but close enough that you can walk to Martinez or Carlton without breaking a sweat.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Cannes rather than just visiting. There’s a little boulangerie about two blocks away that the locals actually use (not the touristy one right on the beach), and you can grab groceries easily without having to venture into the crowded center. Parking can be tricky – well, it’s Cannes, so parking is always tricky – but there are spots if you’re patient, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive much anyway. The beach access is incredible; you can literally roll out of bed and be on the sand in under two minutes. During festival season this area gets busy, but it’s the good kind of busy where you feel like you’re part of something special rather than just stuck in tourist hell. The apartment itself feels lived-in in the best way – everything works properly, the kitchen actually has the tools you need, and the shower pressure is surprisingly good for a older building. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend real time in Cannes rather than just passing through.
