The location is actually perfect if you want that authentic Cannes experience without the insane Croisette prices. You’re tucked away in a quieter residential stretch, but I mean quiet in the best way – you can still hear the Mediterranean if you listen for it, especially from that promised sea view (which, by the way, is legit). The beaches are literally a two-minute walk, and not the crowded tourist strips either. There’s this lovely stretch of sand that locals seem to prefer, where you can actually find a spot to lay your towel without planning a military operation. The pool area surprised me too – nothing huge or Instagram-worthy, but clean and refreshing after those hot Riviera afternoons when even the shade feels like an oven.

What I really appreciated was how the whole setup felt lived-in rather than sterile. The two-room layout gives you actual space to breathe, which is rare in Cannes unless you’re dropping serious cash. You’ve got a proper kitchen area where you can make coffee without hunting for pods or fighting with some complicated machine, and the sea view hits different when you’re sipping your morning café au lait. The walk into central Cannes takes maybe fifteen minutes along the water, or you can catch the bus that runs pretty regularly along Picaud – though honestly, the stroll is half the charm. You’ll pass some excellent little bistros that don’t have English menus (always a good sign) and a boulangerie that does these incredible pain au chocolat that’ll ruin you for airport pastries forever. Parking can be a bit tricky during festival season – well, everything’s tricky during festival season – but the rest of the year it’s manageable. The 3-star rating might seem modest, but sometimes you want comfort over flash, especially when you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring anyway. That perfect 10 rating from guests makes sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard.
