That’s exactly where you’ll find this apartment on Avenue Windsor.

The 200-meter claim to the Croisette is legit, though it’s more like a pleasant five-minute stroll down the hill – which, honestly, is perfect because you’re close enough to pop down for a morning coffee at one of those ridiculously expensive café terraces, but far enough up that you’re not dealing with the late-night party noise that echoes off the water. The three bedrooms are spacious in that French way where the ceilings feel impossibly high and the windows actually open (remember when hotel windows opened?). I mean, you’re not getting palace-level luxury here since it’s a 3-star, but everything feels thoughtfully put together rather than just thrown in to fill space. The kitchen is what really sold me though – it’s actually functional, not one of those hotel kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. We ended up making breakfast most mornings and even tackled dinner a couple times with stuff from the Forville market.

The location puts you within walking distance of both the glitzy festival district and the more authentic neighborhoods where locals actually live and shop. You know what surprised me most? How quiet it gets at night considering you’re so close to everything – there’s something about being just that little bit elevated that creates this peaceful bubble above the city buzz.
