Honestly, when I first saw the address on rue du Sergent Gazan, I wasn’t sure what to expect – it’s one of those quiet residential streets that doesn’t scream “tourist destination.” But you know what? That’s exactly what makes this 3-bedroom apartment so perfect. You’re literally a 10-minute walk from all the Croisette madness, but when you come home at night, it actually feels like you’re living in Cannes rather than just visiting it.

The sea view hit me the moment I walked in – and I mean, it’s not just a sliver of blue between buildings. From the main living area, you’re looking out over rooftops toward the Med, and honestly, I spent way too much time on that balcony with my morning coffee. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in (in a good way), with three bedrooms that can easily handle a family or group of friends without anyone feeling cramped. The kitchen’s got everything you’d actually need if you decide to hit the Marché Forville and cook something instead of eating out every night – which, let’s be real, your wallet will thank you for in Cannes. And here’s the thing that’ll save your sanity: there’s dedicated parking. I can’t stress enough how huge this is during festival season or really any time in summer when finding a spot near downtown becomes this weird competitive sport.

What I really loved is how the neighborhood works – you’ve got that authentic French residential vibe where you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard and smell someone’s dinner cooking, but you’re still close enough that when you want to dress up and pretend you’re fancy on the Croisette, it’s just a pleasant stroll down toward the water. The building’s obviously not brand new (this is France, after all), but everything works well and the 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. I mean, sure, you might hear the occasional motorcycle on the street, but it’s nothing compared to what you’d deal with if you stayed right in the thick of things. Plus, there’s something kind of perfect about walking back from a late dinner and actually feeling like you’re heading home rather than back to some anonymous hotel room.

    We like the brightness and the two balconies

    What could be improved: I think we should be taught how to use the dish washer more thoroughly. Also the location of the garbage.
    We could have more toilet paper and some kitchen towels so we didn’t have to go out and buy them.

    L'appartement traversant, la vue magnifique, lumineux, la disposition des pièces, sa localisation, le parking en sous-sol, l'équipement des chambres, des salles de bains et de la pièce principale. Très agréable hébergement à recommander

    What could be improved: Le manque d'ustensiles de cuisine pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner,, tel qu'un petit blender, un couteau à huîtres, des pics pour bulots et crabes (indispensable en bord de mer), une poêle à frire en bon état, des ciseaux, une grille supplémentaire dans le four qui n'en avait qu'une, un grand plat a gratin en pyrex, des bougeoirs… Les portes coulissantes de la douche très exiguë de la petite salle de bain. Les ampoules de tous les luminaires de l'appartement étaient "cold white" au lieu de "warm white" et donc assez désagréable à l'oeil. Il manquait aussi un ou deux jeux de société tels qu'un paquet de cartes, une chaise longue sur le balcon côté chambres aurait été très agréable. Les oreillers mériteraient d'être plus rembourrés.

    L'appartement correspond bien à la description de l'annonce.
    Parking privé en box.
    À 12 minutes à pied de la plage la croisette (attention petite pente).
    Les draps et le linge sont propres.
    Cuisine bien équipée. Quelques dosettes pour le café et des tablettes pour le lave-vaisselle sont fournis.
    Belle vue depuis la terrasse. On a pu profiter du feu d'artifice du 14 juillet tout en étant depuis le bacon.

    What could be improved: La caution de 1000 euros.
    Une seule toilette pour 4 adultes et deux enfants.
    Des travaux dans l'appartement à côté qui démarrent à 9h du matin. Pas très cool surtout avec un bébé.
    Nous étions avec une poussette, elle rentre de justesse dans l'ascenseur, sinon monter les six étages en escalier avec une poussette serait une vraie galère.
    Coupure de l'eau le dernier jour de notre séjour. Heureusement que nous partions, mais il aurait été préférable de nous prévenir à l'avance.
