Honestly, when I first saw that ridiculously long name, I thought this place might be trying too hard – but you know what? They’re actually just being accurate. This apartment really does deliver on everything they promise, which is refreshing in Cannes where half the places oversell and underdeliver.

The location is what sold me initially. Rue Latour-Maubourg sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to La Croisette that you can stumble back from a late dinner without paying for a taxi, but far enough inland that you’re not dealing with the constant tourist chaos. I mean, you can literally walk to the beach in about eight minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that – and you’ll pass some genuinely good local spots along the way. There’s this little bakery on Rue d’Antibes that locals hit up in the mornings, and you’ll walk right past it. The private terrace though… that’s where this place really shines. Most Cannes rentals give you either a tiny balcony or a shared outdoor space, but this terrace is actually big enough to have your morning coffee and evening wine without feeling cramped. Plus, the air conditioning works properly throughout the whole place, which sounds basic but trust me, during peak summer in the South of France, you’ll appreciate every degree.

What I really loved was how the apartment feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook (and honestly, with the Marché Forville just a short walk away, you should definitely grab some local ingredients at least once). The 9.5 rating makes sense when you experience the little details – good water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, reliable WiFi, proper hangers in the closets. I stayed during the Film Festival period, which is absolute madness in central Cannes, but this street stays relatively quiet even then. You’ll hear some street noise during the day since you’re still in the city center, but nothing that interferes with sleep. The check-in was smooth too – no awkward key handoffs or confusing instructions, just straightforward communication. If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that the nearest parking is a few blocks away, but that’s pretty standard for this part of Cannes unless you want to pay resort prices. Walking back from the Palais des Festivals area takes about fifteen minutes, which isn’t bad, and you get to see how the city transitions from tourist central to where people actually live. For the price point and location, especially with that terrace and proper AC, it’s honestly one of the better finds in Cannes – and I’ve stayed in quite a few places here over the years.
