So here’s the thing about this place in Cannes – it’s actually tucked away on Avenue des Hespérides, which honestly most tourists never even find. I mean, everyone gets stuck around the main Croisette strip fighting for overpriced parking, but this spot? You’re literally a three-minute walk to the beach through this quiet residential area that feels more like where actual people live.

The hotel itself is pretty straightforward – it’s a solid 3-star that doesn’t pretend to be anything fancy, but you know what really got me? That sea view they promise in the name isn’t just marketing fluff. From the upper floors, you’re looking straight out over the Med, and in the morning when the light hits the water… well, let’s just say I spent way too much time on that little balcony with my coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough – nothing Instagram-worthy, but the beds are decent and the AC actually works, which in a French summer is honestly all you need. Plus, and this is huge, they’ve got their own parking situation figured out. I cannot stress enough how much of a game-changer this is in Cannes, especially during festival season when finding a parking spot is like winning the lottery.

What really makes this place work though is the location – you’re in Pointe Croisette, which sounds fancy but is actually just this quieter end of the famous strip. The beach access is ridiculously easy – you just walk down through these residential streets (super safe, by the way) and boom, you’re on sand that’s way less crowded than the spots right in front of the big hotels. The locals seem to know about this little stretch because I kept seeing the same families setting up there day after day. There’s this casual beach bar about fifty meters down that does surprisingly good paninis, and the guy who runs it actually remembers your order after a couple days. You’re still close enough to all the Cannes action – I mean, you can walk to the Palais des Festivals in maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not dawdling – but you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds. At night, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep with the windows open, which is pretty rare anywhere near the Croisette. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re someone who wants to experience Cannes without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble the whole time.
