Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first pulled up to Le Palladio in Cannes, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star apartment rental – but this place completely changed my mind about what you can get without breaking the bank on the Côte d’Azur. It’s tucked away in a quieter residential area that’s actually perfect because you’re close enough to walk to the Croisette (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t mind a little uphill on the way back), but you’re not dealing with the constant tourist chaos and street noise that comes with staying right in the thick of things.
The apartment itself has this sort of understated French elegance that feels authentic rather than trying too hard – you know what I mean? The rooms are larger than what you’d typically find in Cannes hotels, which is huge when you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. I loved having a proper kitchen because, let’s face it, eating out for every meal in Cannes will drain your wallet faster than you can say “bouillabaisse.” The local Monoprix is just a few blocks away, and there’s this little boulangerie on Rue d’Antibes where the morning croissants are honestly better than some I’ve had in Paris. The building itself feels solid and well-maintained – none of that creaky, thin-walled situation you sometimes get with vacation rentals where you hear every conversation from the next room.
What really impressed me was how the Interhome management actually follows through on things. Check-in was smooth (they meet you at the property, which beats hunting around for hidden key boxes), and when I had a minor issue with the shower pressure, someone came by the next day to sort it out. The 9-rating starts to make sense when you realize it’s not just about fancy amenities – it’s about getting the basics absolutely right. You’re a quick bus ride to the Palais des Festivals if you’re here during festival season, though I’d honestly recommend visiting in late spring or early fall when the crowds thin out and you can actually enjoy the beaches without feeling like you’re in a sardine can. The apartment gets lovely light in the mornings, and there’s something really satisfying about having your coffee on the balcony while planning your day, rather than rushing through a hotel breakfast buffet with a hundred other tourists doing the exact same thing.
Hotels in Cannes offer guests the perfect blend of French Riviera elegance and modern comfort, with many featuring red carpet concierge services and private beach clubs to enhance the authentic glamorous French experience.

The apartment itself is gorgeous, great location, lots of space and very modern furnishings.
What could be improved: I wouldn’t book here again unless they found a system to leave you the keys at the apartment directly. Having to walk to the agency in the rain to pick up the keys and drop them off on the last day was hell. I also didn’t think it was great that they only leave one towel in a plastic bag for your stay. At airbnbs or hotels there’s always a storage where you can find more towels if you need it.Yelyzaveta from Poland – 22 September 2024 (8/10)
