Appartement 0321, piscine – parking – proche plages – Palmazur Vacances
Honestly, when I first pulled up to this apartment complex on Avenue Amiral Wester Wemyss, I wasn’t expecting much – the name alone is quite a mouthful, and you know how vacation rentals can be hit or miss. But Appartement 0321 actually surprised me in the best way possible. The building sits in this quiet residential pocket of Cannes that feels worlds away from the chaos around the Palais des Festivals, yet you’re still close enough to walk to the beaches without breaking a sweat. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering – I mean, anyone who’s tried to find a spot during festival season knows what a nightmare that can be.
What really won me over was the pool area. It’s not huge or fancy, but there’s something so satisfying about having your own little slice of water when the beaches get packed with tourists (which, let’s be honest, happens pretty much every day from May through September). The apartment itself has that typical French vacation rental vibe – functional furniture, decent-sized windows, and thankfully good air conditioning because those upper floors can get pretty toasty in summer. The kitchen’s well-equipped enough that you can actually cook if you want to save some euros instead of eating out every meal. I spent quite a few mornings on the balcony with coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up – there’s something nice about seeing regular French life happening around you instead of just being stuck in the tourist bubble down by the Croisette.
The location really grows on you once you figure out the rhythm of the area. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to the main beaches, which sounds far until you realize you’re avoiding all the crowds and inflated prices right by the waterfront. There’s a decent boulangerie just a few blocks away where the locals actually go, and honestly, their croissants beat anything you’ll find in the hotel district. The apartment management (Palmazur Vacances) was pretty responsive when I had a minor issue with the WiFi – nothing dramatic, just typical vacation rental hiccups. I will say the walls are a bit thin, so if you’re unlucky enough to get neighbors who like to party, you’ll know about it. But most of the time it was surprisingly quiet for being so central. For a 3-star place with a 7.7 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense – a comfortable base to explore Cannes without paying resort prices, plus you get that pool and parking combo that’s genuinely hard to find in this city.
