I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to all the action, but when you come back after a long day of dealing with crowds at the Palais des Festivals or fighting for beach space, you’ve got this quiet little oasis waiting for you.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. There’s this pool that – and I can’t stress this enough – becomes absolutely essential during those brutal July afternoons when even the locals are hiding indoors. The whole setup is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should. What I really appreciated was how the kitchen actually has proper equipment, not those sad little hotel kitchenettes where you can barely make coffee. This matters more than you’d think in Cannes, where eating out every meal will absolutely destroy your budget. The grocery store on Rue d’Antibes is maybe a ten-minute walk, so you can actually stock up on decent stuff.

Here’s the thing about the location that took me a while to figure out – you’re positioned perfectly to avoid the worst of the tourist madness while still being walkable to everything that matters. The train station is close enough that you don’t need to worry about taxis, and if you’re planning day trips to Nice or Monaco, that’s huge. Parking around here can be tricky during festival season (well, parking anywhere in Cannes is tricky then), but the rest of the year it’s manageable. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night, which some people love and others might find a bit sleepy – depends what you’re after, I guess. Honestly, after spending days navigating the Croisette crowds, I found the peaceful evenings kind of perfect. You can still hear a bit of the city buzz in the distance, but it’s not keeping you awake. The pool area tends to be most active in the late afternoon, when everyone’s had enough of the beach scene but isn’t ready to call it a day yet.

  No início, pensamos que era longe do centro, porque de carro da muitas voltas até chegar. Mas a pé são exatamente 8 minutos. Muito tranquilo, ótimo estacionamento, ambiente perfeito para descansar e passear.
  Fred é excepcional, sempre muito prestativo e flexível. Amamos!!!
