I mean, Rue de la Verrerie isn’t one of those streets tourists usually stumble onto, but that’s actually what makes it work. You’re tucked away from the Croisette chaos – you know how that gets during festival season or even just summer weekends – but you can still walk to all the good stuff in maybe ten minutes. The apartment itself has that lived-in coastal vibe that feels way more authentic than those sterile hotel rooms. Sure, it’s a 3-star setup, so don’t expect marble everything, but the 8.2 rating makes sense when you factor in the location and the fact that you actually get space to spread out. There’s something refreshing about having a proper kitchen when you’re staying somewhere longer than a quick weekend, especially since the local markets around here are incredible (the one on Rue Meynardier is worth the short walk).

What really got me was stepping out in the morning and actually being able to see the water – not just glimpses between buildings, but proper sea views. The neighborhood has this residential feel where you’ll see locals doing their daily shopping and kids heading to school, which honestly beats being surrounded by nothing but other tourists. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle around here, I won’t lie, but that’s pretty much true anywhere in central Cannes that’s worth staying. The trade-off is that you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, and when the evening crowds get thick down by the port, you can retreat to this quieter pocket. The building itself has that weathered Mediterranean charm – not Instagram-perfect, but the kind of place that feels like it belongs here rather than being dropped in for tourists. You’ll probably hear some street life, but it’s more charming than disruptive, and by late evening things settle down nicely. For what you’re paying versus what you’d shell out for comparable access to the waterfront, it’s honestly a pretty smart choice if you want to experience Cannes without feeling like you’re just checking boxes on a tourist itinerary.

  The apartment is clean and appears to have been refurbished recently to a good standard. They seem to have thought of most things, including a tin with a selection of platers which I was extremely grateful for having walked so much.
  
  What could be improved: The building is a bit of a warren from its entrance to the apartment but once shown I didn't get lost, and the quality of of the apartment and the view of the sea more than make up for this.

  The appartment was perfect, and the location also. Everything is brand new and functioning. The host was very nice, he provided everything we needed and even more. The private parking was very useful and the wifi worked well also. We liked everything.

  Only good thing was it was fairly clean – old hair in the bed though and fairly close to a dirty beach.
  
  What could be improved: It is a giant prison block- no character, impossible with children.
  – no child friendly- no cot.
  – The air conditioning unit is very noisy , you will not sleep. Neighbours wake us up complaining
  – Full kitchen is a joke – no kettle / no oven.
  Only a microwave!
  
  – Appartment is extremely small- only good thing is the balcony , okay view from balcony of half sea.
  – Beds are very uncomfortable : sofa bed you can feel the springs and noisy.
  – washing machine is tiny / you can fit 5 T-shirts inside.
  – no bin bags and owner complain to me for not changing the bin!
  
  The television is about 10 years old, no smart tv and is 15cm! It is tiny!!!! Remote is broken also and does not work.
  Swimming pool is shared with all of the 1000 residents of this huge prison complex – no beds available unless you go early.
  
  Security at pool make you remove your Sandals or flip flops before entering the pool area, EVEN CHINDREN! The floor is extremely hot , crazy!!! No umbrella also.

  Terrazzo con vista incredibile dall'alto! Equipaggiato di tutto il necessario sia in cucina che nel bagno! Presenza di lavatrice e lavastoviglie! Macchina del caffè con già le capsule!

  Appartamento al piano 5 completamente ristrutturato e super accessoriato (lavatrice, lavastoviglie e macchina del caffè). Balcone con tavolo e stendino per costumi, vista piscina e mare. Parcheggio sotterraneo con posto auto riservato. La proprietaria estremamente gentile e disponibile.

  L'appartement correspond exactement au descriptif de l'annonce.
  
  What could be improved: Les services d'accueil et d'information qui ont été défaillants.
  L'appartement loué se trouve inséré dans plusieurs structures de vacances dont "Pierre et Vacances".
  La personne qui nous accueillie ne nous a pas indiqué avec précisions les moyens de quitter la structure hôtelière.
  Dès que l'on dépose les clefs on ne peut sortir qu'avec un VIGIQ ou…attendre quelqu'un qui en possède un.
  Alertée sur ce point à notre départ la responsable nous a indiquée par téléphone de déposer les clefs à l'accueil chez une certaine "Isabelle de Pierre et Vacances" qui a refusé de les prendre en raison de directives reçues. En conséquence les clefs ont été déposées à l'accueil dans la boîte de "Pierre et Vacances " et il a fallu attendre qu'une personne ait l'amabilité de nous ouvrir la porte d'accès vers la rue.
