You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s technically an apartment rental, but honestly, it feels way more luxurious than most hotels I’ve stayed at in Cannes. The moment you walk onto that terrace and see the pool glistening there – I mean, you’re literally a ten-minute walk from all the Croisette madness, but it feels like you’re in your own private retreat up in La Californie.

The location on Boulevard Montfleury is actually pretty brilliant if you know Cannes at all. You’re high enough up the hill that you escape the tourist chaos (and trust me, during festival season that’s worth its weight in gold), but you can still stroll down to the beach or hit up the fancy boutiques without breaking a sweat. I loved that you could grab morning coffee at the little café on the corner – the locals hang out there, not the cruise ship crowds. The apartment itself has this relaxed, lived-in vibe that makes you feel like you’re borrowing a friend’s place rather than staying somewhere sterile. The pool area becomes your evening sanctuary – there’s something magical about floating there as the sun sets over the Mediterranean, hearing the distant hum of the city below but feeling completely removed from it.

What really won me over was all the little details that show someone actually thought about how people live, not just how they pose for Instagram. The kitchen’s properly stocked (shocking how rare that is), there’s decent WiFi throughout, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic. The terrace furniture is comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to spend time out there, not just snap a quick photo. Parking can be a bit tricky in this neighborhood, but honestly, that’s Cannes for you. The host was genuinely helpful with local tips too, which made a huge difference. I’d definitely come back, especially if I wanted that perfect balance of being close to everything but having a peaceful place to decompress after long days of, well, being fabulous on the Riviera.

  the apartment is very large, i was travlling alone for work, and it was huge for me. Very clean and all aminities you would want. Its perhaps 10 mins walk to town – i was in the area as working at the Cannes Yacht show, it was perhaps 20 mins to walk to the far side of the marina. When i arrived there was a 5 minute wait for the owners father to meet me at the gate. Sadly, my french is very limited, and he spoke no English – but between us, he was able to show me round the apartment how demonstate how things work (Aircon / coffee machine etc) and he walked me round the building – showing me how to access the garage/refuse/pool etc.
  
  What could be improved: It took me a while to get the induction hob to work, as some of the pans in the apartment are not suitable, so the hob will not wam up – just try a few, it will work!!
  I was attached my mosquitos on my first night sitting out on the balcony (i am very allergic) – so i recommend to use a bug spray or take some citronella cendles – its lovely to sit out on the large balcony, so just go prepared (i bought some candles and lighters so i could continue to sit out – i left the lighters beind in the kitchen drawer for future guests, but took the candles home)

  The apartment iwas absolutely fabulous! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. The layout of the apartment was spacious and modern, with all the amenities we could need for our stay. The balcony is fantastic and we enjoyed relaxing out there each evening. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Cannes.

  Logement récent et bien équipé, à 10 / 15 minutes à pied du palais des festivals. Hôte très accueillant et agréable. Je recommande. Nous y étions à 6 adultes, les canapés lit sont très corrects en termes de couchage.

  Appartement très bien situé et confortable avec tout ce qu'il faut, grande terrasse avec les commodités à proximité, flexibilité lors du départ.

  What could be improved: Die Wohnung hätte eine gute Reinigung (der Boden im Wohnbereich )benötigt, wurde dann beim einchecken durgeführt, Ansonsten war alles ok.
