Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Cannes apartments, and this blue apartment on Rue du Maréchal Foch is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The location is just ridiculous – I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Croisette, but tucked away on this quiet side street where you can actually sleep at night without hearing drunk festival-goers stumbling around at 3 AM.

The apartment itself sits on the first floor (which is actually the second floor if you’re American – took me a minute to figure that out when I was hauling my suitcase up). What really gets me is how the owner has managed to balance that casual French apartment vibe with actually having everything work properly. You know how sometimes these old Cannes places have charming quirks that stop being charming when you can’t figure out the shower? Not here. Everything just… works. The kitchen’s got proper equipment if you want to grab groceries from the Monoprix around the corner, and honestly, with those Croisette restaurant prices, you’ll want to. The bedroom gets surprisingly good light for being in the city center, and there’s this nice cross-breeze thing happening that keeps it cool even in July.

Here’s what I really love though – you can walk to the train station in about eight minutes when you’re ready to explore Nice or Monaco, but you’re also close enough to the Palais des Festivals that you can pop back to freshen up between events if you’re here during one of the conferences. The beach access is fantastic too, and not just the fancy hotel beaches everyone talks about. There’s a public section just past the Carlton where locals actually go, and you can get there without dealing with the main Croisette crowds. Parking’s always a nightmare in this part of Cannes, but the host gave me solid advice about the municipal lots – actually saved me probably fifty euros over the week. The Casino’s right there if that’s your thing, though I spent more time at the little wine bar two streets over that the neighbors seem to love. One tiny thing – the stairs can be a bit much if you’re not used to them, and grocery runs require a little planning. But honestly? For this location and this price point, and with a 9.9 rating that actually feels earned, it’s exactly the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Cannes rather than just visiting it.

  Best location in Cannes, very clean, very spacious, very charming. The photos are very accurate, it almost felt familiar when we first came in! The apartment was recently renovated, it looks like brand new. The bathrooms are beautiful and huge, the shower in the master bedroom was probably the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Also the fact that the apartment is on the first floor is very convenient in case you have heavy suitcases like me. It also feels very safe as there are 2 doors to enter the apartment and outdoor blinds for every window.
  I rented 5 different apartments in Cannes all around the same budget and this one is by far the best one I’ve stayed at.
  Not to forget, the person in charge of our check in and check out (Sebastien) was very polite, helpful and punctual. The equipment of the apartment was perfect, sufficient for a short stay!

  Gostei de tudo no apartamento. O tamanho é ótimo e acomoda super bem 4 pessoas. Os quartos, as camas e os travesseiros são extremamente confortáveis. A cozinha é bem equipada para refeições rápidas. Os 2 banheiros (parte de chuveiro) são bem grandes, mas como a maioria das casas francesas, tem apenas 1 vaso sanitário (separado dos chuveiros). O apartamento foi recentemente reformado, é bonito, bem iluminado e está no melhor lugar de Cannes, com muitos cafés, restaurantes e lojas ao redor, além de fácil acesso à Gare e à praia. Localizado a 10 minutos do Palais des Festivals. Sebastien, que nos recebeu, é muito simpático e bastante prestativo, sempre disponível para qualquer questão. Recomendo fortemente.
