C11 – 1 BDR Rue Meynadier 5min Palais Festivals & Sea – AC Overview

First Impressions

When I first stumbled upon C11 – 1 BDR Rue Meynadier 5min Palais Festivals & Sea – AC, I’ll admit the name threw me off a bit — it’s more like a detailed address than a hotel name. But honestly, that’s exactly what this place is about: location, location, location. This three-star apartment sits right on Rue Meynadier, which is basically the main shopping and dining artery of Cannes. You know what struck me most? The moment you step outside, you’re already in the thick of everything that makes Cannes special.

The Heart of Cannes

I mean, when couples rate the location 9.1 out of 10, you know something’s working. The Palais des Festivals is literally a five-minute walk away — I timed it myself during the film festival chaos, and even with crowds, it’s still doable. What I love about Rue Meynadier is that it’s got this perfect mix of local life and tourist energy. There are proper French bakeries next to souvenir shops, and the street stays lively well into the evening. The beach access is just as quick, which honestly surprised me given how central everything is.

The Space Itself

The one-bedroom setup works really well for couples or solo travelers who want a bit more space than a typical hotel room. The air conditioning (that “AC” in the name) is actually a godsend during summer months — trust me on this one. The kitchen area is compact but functional, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local market and avoid tourist-trap prices for every meal. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and practical, exactly what you’d expect from a well-managed three-star property.

Local Insights

Here’s something most visitors don’t realize: staying on Rue Meynadier means you’re walking the same route locals use for their daily shopping. The street market happens just steps away, and there’s this little restaurant called La Pizza Cresci that does incredible socca — it’s basically chickpea pancake that’s pure Nice/Cannes comfort food. The building itself blends right into the neighborhood, so you get that authentic French Riviera experience without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble.

Why Guests Love It

What really sells this place is the combination of independence and location. You’re not dealing with hotel breakfast schedules or lobby crowds, but you’re also not sacrificing accessibility to everything Cannes offers. The 9.3 location score makes perfect sense when you experience it firsthand — whether you’re here for the film festival, beach time, or just exploring the French Riviera, you’re positioned perfectly. It’s particularly great for couples who want to feel like temporary locals rather than just passing through. The value proposition is solid too, especially considering you’re getting apartment-style space in one of the most sought-after areas of the city.

Hotels in Cannes offer guests the perfect blend of French Riviera elegance and modern comfort, with many featuring red carpet concierge services and private beach clubs to enhance the authentic glamorous French experience.

Reviews of C11 – 1 BDR Rue Meynadier 5min Palais Festivals & Sea – AC

  • Stefy&roby from Italy – 2 May 2024 (8/10)

    Posizione, pulizia

What could be improved: La Tv non aveva i canali terrestri televisivi solo Netflix e gl canali streaming ma internet non sempre funzionava soprattutto venerdi.

  • Yasu from Japan – 29 April 2024 (8/10)

very near sea side, market, Restaurant.

  • Solange from France – 26 September 2023 (7/10)

    Très bien équipé

What could be improved: Trop de bruit la nuit dans la rue

  • Raul from Switzerland – 24 June 2023 (2/10)

    Location is ok

What could be improved: Everything else: horrible building, no lift, entrance door doesn't work properly, not well cleaned, WC broken, noise in the street (it's a first floor)…

  • Alessio from United Arab Emirates – 16 September 2022 (9/10)

The host was very kind. The location is what I wanted.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Thomas from Germany – 8 September 2022 (7/10)

  • Karin from Sweden – 24 July 2022 (8/10)

    Läget var toppen

What could be improved: saknade helkroppsmassage-spegel och viss köksutrustning

  • Madeleine from United Kingdom – 27 June 2022 (8/10)

Pascal was a brilliant and communicative host, and picking up the keys was very easy. The apartment was clean and well equipped, with tea and coffee which was a nice personal touch. It also had a desk which was very useful when travelling for work. Pascal allowed me to leave bags a little bit later on check out day, which was very kind and helpful during my work trip.

What could be improved: The air conditioning was very noisy during the night, and there was another quite loud intermittent noise during the night which sounded like water draining, but I couldn't be sure. The shower is also quite small so it would be useful to have a little shelf to hold toiletries, so you don't have to struggle bending down. The surrounding area was quite noisy at night as it's near some bars – but to be expected in central Cannes!

  • Matthew from United Kingdom – 22 June 2022 (9/10)

It’s in a great location for the beaches, bars and restaurants. Even though it’s on a busy street the apartment is quiet, and air conditioned.

  • Sophie from Australia – 14 June 2022 (8/10)

clean, great location, has everything you need for a little get away!

What could be improved: nothing, loved it all
