Cannes Center La Croisette Splendid 2 BR in premium residence gardens and balcony by Olam Properties
So I’ll be honest – when I first saw this place listed as “Cannes Center La Croisette Splendid” with that whole Olam Properties thing, I thought it might be one of those corporate rental situations that feels a bit sterile. But you know what? I was completely wrong about this one. This two-bedroom apartment sits right on Rond Point Duboys d’Angers, which is actually perfect positioning if you know Cannes at all – you’re literally a three-minute walk from La Croisette (I timed it), but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant parade of tourists dragging their roller bags at 6 AM.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a rental property, which is honestly refreshing. The balcony overlooks these surprisingly lush gardens – and I mean actually green, not just a few sad palms like you see in some of these residence complexes. Mornings out there with coffee are pretty much perfect, especially in late spring when everything’s blooming but it’s not yet brutally hot. The two bedrooms are properly sized (you can actually walk around the bed, imagine that), and the whole place has this light, airy feel that makes you want to keep the windows open. The kitchen’s well-equipped too – I mean, you’re in Cannes so you’ll probably eat out plenty, but it’s nice to grab fresh stuff from Marché Forville and actually cook it properly.
What really sells this place for me is the location specifics that most people don’t mention. You’re close enough to walk to the Palais des Festivals, but more importantly, you’re right near some of the better local spots that aren’t tourist traps. There’s this little café on Rue d’Antibes that becomes your morning routine, and the evening walk down to the old port feels effortless rather than like a trek. Parking – since everyone always asks – there’s a garage situation that actually works, which is no small miracle in Cannes. The whole residence feels secure without being fortress-like, and honestly, the 9.5 rating makes sense once you’re there. It’s not fancy in that over-the-top Riviera way, but everything just… works. The WiFi’s solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and the shower pressure is what you’d hope for after a day on the beach. I’d definitely stay here again, which is saying something because I’m usually pretty picky about these vacation rental situations.
