You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I stepped onto the balcony, I could actually hear the Mediterranean lapping against the shore – and I mean *actually* hear it, not just catch glimpses between buildings like most Cannes accommodations. The Cannes Front Beach Pools Apartment sits right on Rue de la Verrerie, which honestly sounds fancy but it’s just this narrow little street that somehow puts you ridiculously close to the action without the chaos of the main drags.

The apartment itself is solid three-star territory – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but genuinely comfortable in that lived-in European way. The pool situation is actually pretty sweet, especially if you’re visiting during those scorching July weeks when even the locals are complaining about the heat. I mean, sure, you’re sharing it with other guests, but there’s something nice about having that option when the beaches get absolutely packed (which they do, trust me). The kitchen is small but functional – I managed to make coffee and store some decent cheese from the morning market without any drama. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so close to everything. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals, but somehow the street noise doesn’t carry much.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re actually here – you’re positioned perfectly between the old town charm and the glitzy beach club scene. Walk one direction and you hit those winding cobblestone streets with the proper French cafés where locals actually eat (not just tourists). Walk the other way and you’re at the beaches where you can people-watch the yacht crowd without paying yacht prices. Parking is… well, it’s Cannes, so it’s not great, but there’s a public lot about two blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury resort territory, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The staff was straightforward and helpful without being overly fussy, which I actually prefer. Check-in was smooth, they gave me the WiFi password without me having to ask three times, and when I had a question about the best route to avoid festival crowds, they knew their stuff. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place that lets you experience Cannes like you actually live there for a few days, rather than just passing through, this works really well.

  We had a sea view apartment and the view was really great! Big balcony, outdoors pool the kids enjoyed. Location is great, beach front, close to the city, easy to get in.
  
  What could be improved: well, the whole facility is quite old and tired. leaking water in the underground parking, squeaky elevators, scratched and stained walls… same applies for the apartment, everything is a little out. I mean it is clean, no problem, but the overall impression is not good – old and scratched furniture, the furniture on the balcony is cheap plastic with burns on it, the bed linen is also cheap and not too pleasant.
  So I understand they charge for location, but for the price they could have done a little more effort.

  What could be improved: Nothing is like in the pictures, just the view from the balcony is great. The bank bed is in the hallway, the bedroom is so small, no cabinets, no drawers . The heat in the nights is unbearable, the noise is also very unpleasant. You can't sleep with the window closed but however you need to close it because of the noise…and then with the window closed you suffocate with the heat. I will not recommend this apartment.
