Cannes Palm Beach – 2 chambres Vue mer
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places along the Croisette, and honestly? This little gem on Avenue de Lérins caught me completely off guard. You know what I mean when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, this works” – that’s exactly what happened here. The Cannes Palm Beach apartment sits on the fourth floor, and I’ll tell you right now, those sea views aren’t just marketing fluff. You’re actually looking out over the Mediterranean, not some sliver of blue between buildings like half the “sea view” places around here.
The location is sort of perfect if you think about it – you’re on Pointe Croisette, which means you get that prestigious Cannes address without the absolute chaos of being right on the main drag. I mean, you can walk to all the fancy stuff (the Palais des Festivals is maybe fifteen minutes on foot), but when you come home at night, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. And trust me, in Cannes during festival season, that’s worth its weight in gold. The two bedrooms are honestly well thought out – I’ve seen way too many places here where they just throw up walls and call it a day, but this feels like someone actually lives here sometimes. The whole setup has that 9.4 rating for a reason, and after spending a few days there, I get it.
What really sold me though was the practical stuff nobody talks about in those glossy travel guides. The building has a proper elevator (you’d be surprised how many fourth-floor places in old Cannes buildings don’t), and the check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no weird key pickup locations or confusing instructions. You’re close enough to the good markets on rue Meynadier that you can actually cook if you want to save some euros, but honestly, with all the restaurants within walking distance, I barely used the kitchen except for morning coffee. The beach access is what you’d expect for this part of town – you’ll pay for chairs and umbrellas, but the water’s clean and the whole scene is pretty much what you came to Cannes for anyway. Just don’t expect to find parking right outside – this is still central Cannes, after all, so plan accordingly or embrace the walking life.
