Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a long name, but this BENAKEY flat on avenue des Coteaux turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you want to keep it secret. The location is actually brilliant – you’re in the Prado-République area, which means you get that residential Cannes vibe without the tourist chaos, but you can still walk to the Palais des Festivals in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling ambitious.
The flat itself lives up to the “charming and bright” promise, though I’d say it’s more accurately described as genuinely comfortable rather than Instagram-perfect. The AC is a godsend during those sticky July afternoons when even the locals are complaining about the heat, and you know what? That closed garage is worth its weight in gold. Anyone who’s tried to park in Cannes during festival season will tell you the same thing – having a guaranteed spot means you can actually relax and explore without circling blocks like a vulture. The garden being 300 meters away initially seemed like an odd selling point, but it’s actually Parc de la Roseraie, and on those early mornings when the city’s still quiet, it’s perfect for coffee and people-watching before the day gets crazy.
What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The kitchen has proper coffee equipment (not just those terrible pod machines), there are extra towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the apartment – I mean, you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong. The neighborhood around avenue des Coteaux has this lived-in feel where you’ll find a proper boulangerie two streets over and a little épicerie that stays open late when you realize you forgot to buy wine. The walk down to La Croisette takes maybe twenty minutes, but honestly, after a few days you’ll appreciate coming back to a street where tourists aren’t constantly asking for directions. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend mornings can get a bit lively with families heading to the park, but it’s more charming than annoying – sort of reminds you that you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than some sterile hotel district.
The concierge service in Cannes can arrange exclusive access to film screenings, secure reservations at celebrity-frequented restaurants, and organize personalized visits to the Palais des Festivals and nearby islands.

Reviews
Alan from United Kingdom – 5 May 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was bright, spacious and clean with a private garden. The suburban location was good being close to both Cannes and Grasse and with easy access to the A8 autoroute. if you have a car it was a good base to explore the Cote d'Azure. Emilie met us there with the keys and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped for a comfortable stay.
What could be improved: The underground garage was too small to fit a standard car, however we managed to find free parking on the streets nearby so it wasn't a big problem. Only one sofa to seat max 2 people in living room.
