This modern 2-bedroom apartment sits in La Californie Pezou, which I’ll admit sounds fancier than it is, but that’s actually what I loved about it. You’re getting that Cannes address without the Boulevard de la Croisette prices or chaos.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – I mean that in the best way possible. It’s got that contemporary French aesthetic without being sterile, and the two rooms are genuinely spacious enough that you won’t feel like you’re stepping on each other’s toes. The building (Les Vénitiennes) has this sort of understated elegance that fits the neighborhood perfectly. La Californie isn’t where the film festival crowds hang out, which means you can actually walk to the corner café without dodging tourists with massive cameras. The Rue Volta location puts you close enough to pop down to the old port when you want some action, but far enough up the hill that you’ll sleep through the night instead of listening to party boats until 3 AM.

What really won me over was how the owners seemed to get what travelers actually need. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen – sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places skimp on this – and the wifi actually works throughout the apartment, not just in one corner of the living room. Parking in Cannes can be an absolute nightmare, especially during festival season, but this area still has some street spots if you’re not afraid of a slight uphill walk. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be the Intercontinental, but it delivers on what it promises. I found myself using it as a proper base rather than just a place to crash, which says something about how comfortable it actually is. If you’re the type who wants to experience Cannes like you live there for a week instead of just passing through, this spot gets it right.

  The apartment was a good size, very spacious for a apartment in Cannes. The place was very clean with lots of toilet paper and other amenities. I didn't use the parking but the fact it had one was unheard of. Has an elevator so very easy for an over packing American. It was a leisurely 10 minute walk to le croisette. Great space and hope to come back next year!

  Appartamento situato a due passi dal centro con parcheggio al coperto, arredato al top con tutto il necessario, 4 piano con ascensore panoramico , il supermercato di fronte aperto dalle 6 alle 24 una comodità unica , il mare a 700mt tutto fatto a piedi senza auto, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per la posizione a due passi dal centro di Cannes, gentilissimo Roland l'host che ci ha accolto e ci ha spiegato tutto 🙏

  Das Apartment ist eher eine Wohnung und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Riesiges TV mit Internetanbindung. Die Lage ist optimal um zu Fuss in die Stadt zu gehen. Sehr gut sortierter Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und völlig unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Toller Aufenthalt.

  Buon appartamento 10 minuti dal centro, si dovrebbe migliore la sala pranzo con tavolo e relative sedie perché in quattro si è un po’ scomodi, bello il bagno con vasca/ doccia, un po’ misero la stanza con il wc . ottimo il garage privato gratuito , rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, l accoglienza del signor Roland è molto buona sempre disponibile.
