You know what struck me first about this place? The fact that it’s on the 4th floor of a building right on Avenue Jean de Lattre de Tassigny – and honestly, that’s actually perfect because you’re close enough to everything but high enough to escape the street noise that can drive you crazy in Cannes during festival season. I mean, this isn’t some fancy palace hotel, but the COPACABANA apartment has this authentic French residential vibe that feels way more real than staying in those cookie-cutter tourist spots.
The two-bedroom setup works brilliantly if you’re traveling with family or friends – there’s enough space to spread out without tripping over each other, which is honestly rare in Cannes where most places squeeze you into shoebox rooms. What I really appreciated was how the apartment actually feels lived-in rather than sterile (you’ll see what I mean when you notice the little touches that make it homey). The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just for show, which is clutch because eating out for every meal in Cannes will absolutely destroy your budget. Plus, being on that particular avenue means you’re maybe a 10-minute walk to the Palais des Festivals area, but you can also hit up the local shops and cafés that aren’t completely tourist-trapped – there’s this little boulangerie just down the street that locals actually use.
Here’s the thing about the location that booking sites won’t tell you: you’re positioned perfectly between the old town (Le Suquet) and the glitzy Croisette strip, so you can choose your adventure each day without committing to one vibe. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you stay here – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers on what matters: clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for Cannes standards. The only minor thing I’d mention is that French apartment buildings can be a bit… let’s say “charming” when it comes to things like elevator size and lobby fanciness, but that’s part of the authentic experience. During peak times (May festival, summer months), this area gets lively but not unbearably chaotic like right on the beach front. If you want that real French Riviera apartment experience without paying resort prices, this spot actually nails it.

Everything you need is in the apartment. All well equipted.
What could be improved: We were okay with it. But the property is located on a slight hill. But it was still easy to get to.
And even checkout on booking.com was advertised 12.00 noon we had to leave by 9.30. But they offered to keep the luggage until 5.00pm so it wasn't that bad.Florin from Belgium – 2 August 2023 (9/10)
Great accomodation!
Close to Plage du Midi, the best beach in Cannes. It takes 10' easy walking.
Even though the accomodation does not offer a parking spot, back to the building there is a free parking lot (about 50-60 spots). I used the vehicle 6 days out of 7 and every time I founded a spot in there, even at midnight.
The apartment offers every usual facilities, as per description.
A big terras with a long awning is great for serving a coffee in the morning or a beer or a glass of wine at the end of the day.
Two separate bedroom, a separate kitchen and a big living was enough for my family: two adults and two kids.
Sylvie, the lady that who welcomed us to the venue was so kind and provided us very useful information.
Honestly, we loved so much French Riviera, that will come back for sure. I hope I will find COPACABANA available at that time.

We have a very pleasant 2 week stay at this apartment. There were three of us – 2 adults and a child- but with 2 bedrooms the apartment can easily accommodate 4 people.
It was very well equipped, with everything needed for an extended stay – washing machine, dishwasher, well fitted out kitchen etc. Good AC too in the bedrooms & main living area – very important in the summer in Cannes – as well as a nice balcony.
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, about 15 minutes walk from the main train station.
What could be improved: Overall, this is an excellent property but be aware that it’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest beach and central area of town. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, with a very small lift that can only fit 3 people max, so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Fortunately this wasn’t a problem for us and we enjoyed walking through the nice residential area between the apartment and beaches etc.David from Australia – 14 June 2023 (9/10)

beautiful view very spaced out quiet neighborhood and quiet close to main shopping areas. Sylvie was great she even came to pick us at the Station.

Very good location, quite central
What could be improved: Lots of the instructions for utensils were only in French. A local bus/train timetable would’ve been appreciated. Also didn’t get fresh towels and there was a lack of toilet paper.
