The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in actual Cannes rather than some tourist bubble. Rue des Mimosas is this quiet residential street that most visitors never find, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the Croisette madness. I mean, you can still hear the occasional motorbike revving up the hill (this is France, after all), but it’s nothing compared to the chaos closer to the beach. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to duck into the local boulangerie around the corner each morning – you know, the one where the baker gives you that look if you don’t say “bonjour” properly. The staff at Elena seemed to get that their guests might actually want to experience Cannes like locals do, not just hit the obvious spots. They’d casually mention things like which market days are worth checking out or where to grab coffee that doesn’t cost fifteen euros.

The rooms themselves? Well, they’re not going to blow your mind, but everything works and it’s clean – honestly, that 8.6 rating makes total sense. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s decent air conditioning, which you’ll definitely need if you’re visiting between June and September. I stayed in July and never felt like I was melting, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve tried in this city. The bathrooms are compact but functional, and here’s a detail that matters – the water pressure is solid and it actually gets hot quickly. You’d be surprised how many places mess this up. One small thing that bugged me: the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in my room, though it worked fine in the common areas. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning if you’re planning to work from your room. What really sold me on the place was the breakfast setup – nothing fancy, just good croissants and proper coffee served by people who seem genuinely happy to see you each morning. That’s rarer than you’d think.

  Clean, modern, spacious apartment with stylish design.
  Well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to prepare our own meals and eat in leisurely.
  Conveniently located near Cannes TGV Train Station (10 minutes’ walk) and steps to Rue d’Antibes, the City’s major shopping district. Grocery stores and restaurants close by.
  Washing machine and drying rack available in the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: We picked up the key from the building lockbox with no problem. But it took us a while to figure out the location of the apartment inside the building, as none of the apartments have numbers on their doors. We had to go through all the links in the host's communication to finally find the instructions. Couldn't reach anyone by phone. All communication had to be done by WhatsApp or through Booking.com App and then we waited for a reply.
  There were several maintenance issues which we reported. Some were dealt with right away (like a broken door knob on the entry door). Others were not looked after (a bathroom sink that leaked, smoke alarm with dead battery). There are potentials for improvement.

  Accomodation was clean and the area was pleasant. Nice and spacious and nicely done out.All the amenities, nice bathrooms
