Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first saw the name “Flo & Rose Azur” I wasn’t sure what to expect – it sounds almost too charming, you know? But this duplex apartment on Avenue Amiral Wester Wemyss turned out to be one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. The sea view hits you the moment you walk in, and I mean really hits you – not some sliver between buildings, but proper Mediterranean blue stretching out from your own private terraces. The duplex setup actually works brilliantly here because the upper level feels like your own little aerie overlooking Cannes, while downstairs you’ve got easy access to those gorgeous gardens and the pool area.
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this oasis that feels completely removed from the Cannes hustle, even though you’re really not that far from everything. The parking situation alone is worth mentioning – and I don’t say that lightly, because finding a spot in Cannes during festival season is basically a contact sport. Here, you’ve got your own space, which means you can actually explore the coastline without that constant anxiety about where you’ll dump the car when you get back. The gardens are what really seal the deal though. They’re not manicured to within an inch of their life like some hotel properties, but they have this lived-in, almost residential feel that makes you forget you’re staying in what’s technically a rental.
The pool area gets busy mid-afternoon – well, as busy as it can get in a place this size – but early morning and evening it’s pure magic. I spent most evenings out there with a glass of wine, watching the light change over the water. The terraces are positioned so you actually get different views depending on which one you choose, and the upper terrace catches the best sunset light. It’s a 3-star rating officially, but honestly it punches well above that weight class. The 9 rating from other guests makes complete sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but what it does, it does really well. The location gives you that perfect balance of being able to walk into Cannes proper when you want the action, but coming home to something that feels more like a friend’s gorgeous apartment than a typical tourist accommodation. Just don’t expect huge crowds or a concierge – this is more about having your own slice of the Côte d’Azur lifestyle, complete with morning coffee on your terrace and evening swims with a view.

Reviews
Great week in Cannes in October – Gunzinger from Switzerland – 24 October 2024 (10/10)
it had everything we needed for our stay. Great bonus was the view and the
pool.
What could be improved: nothing reallySuperb – Timur from Ukraine – 22 September 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is fantastic! The view from the balcony is stunning, and there are plenty of beds to sleep in as well.
One really great thing is that the kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, plus some basic products were provided for our arrival. I think it's the first time I've experienced such excellent service🥹
Overall, everything went smoothly, and we felt well taken care of.
What could be improved: The only issues we encountered were the ants in the living room and mosquitoes🥲Really fantastic place the host was very helpful so please reach out to him. Pool was amazing but no bar or restaurant o – Martin from United Kingdom – 10 August 2024 (9/10)
Lovely facilities great sea view downstairs was quite cool in the day. Lots of useful things that we had access to like beach umbrella nice food package left. Nice touch.
What could be improved: Aircon unit not aircon throughout the property. Second bedroom a little small but we worked around it.Exceptional – Morten from Norway – 9 July 2023 (10/10)
Very nice apartment, and the poolarea was very nice.
Very good – Patricia from Puerto Rico – 8 June 2023 (8/10)
We were a small group of friends who stayed at the property for the Cannes Film Festival and would highly recommend! The location is great as buses are circulating regularly and left us a short walk away from the apartment, we could also walk the whole way to the Palais/center in about 25 minutes. Everything was clean and fully equipped with all we needed for our stay. The host, Florent, was very attentive and helpful the entire time. Will definitely consider coming back next year!
What could be improved: not exactly a negative but you are arriving with suitcases I do recommend taking a taxi to get there as it is an uphill walk and can be tough with heavy luggageOverall extremely pleased with my stay and would happily recommend this to others. – Glenn from United Kingdom – 7 October 2022 (10/10)
It had everything we needed and more. The views and the swimming pool were stunning.
What could be improved: NothingNice stay in Cannes – Mihnea from Romania – 25 June 2025 (9/10)
Host was very helpful and provided a lot of information and advice.
Location is ok, however you need a car. There is quick access to public transportation, however the bus stop is about 10 minutes away walking. And upon return there is a rather steep sloap to walk, so you have to be in a good shape. The center of Cannes is not very far if you want to reach it by walking (30 minutes) but the road there is with ups and downs.
What could be improved: Compound a bit old, the space a bit cramped. My daughter and myself enjoyed the place however, my wife not so much.Great experience in Cannes! – Armiraglio from United Kingdom – 25 June 2025 (9/10)
Nice residence and flat – had all we needed, clean, host extremely helpful
What could be improved: 2nd room is really smallGreat spot from which to enjoy Cannes! – Kristina from United States – 3 February 2025 (9/10)
View was spectacular and good-sized kitchen/living room to relax.
What could be improved: Fairly steep incline from public transportation, so be prepared to hike if reliant on public transportation. Bunk room is also very small.Loved it – Robin from United Kingdom – 3 July 2024 (9/10)
Everything was great
What could be improved: Weather could have been sunnier but improved so not an issue
