Flo & Rose Azur – Duplex vue mer terrasses piscine jardins parking
Honestly, when I first saw the name “Flo & Rose Azur” I wasn’t sure what to expect – it sounds almost too charming, you know? But this duplex apartment on Avenue Amiral Wester Wemyss turned out to be one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. The sea view hits you the moment you walk in, and I mean really hits you – not some sliver between buildings, but proper Mediterranean blue stretching out from your own private terraces. The duplex setup actually works brilliantly here because the upper level feels like your own little aerie overlooking Cannes, while downstairs you’ve got easy access to those gorgeous gardens and the pool area.
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this oasis that feels completely removed from the Cannes hustle, even though you’re really not that far from everything. The parking situation alone is worth mentioning – and I don’t say that lightly, because finding a spot in Cannes during festival season is basically a contact sport. Here, you’ve got your own space, which means you can actually explore the coastline without that constant anxiety about where you’ll dump the car when you get back. The gardens are what really seal the deal though. They’re not manicured to within an inch of their life like some hotel properties, but they have this lived-in, almost residential feel that makes you forget you’re staying in what’s technically a rental.
The pool area gets busy mid-afternoon – well, as busy as it can get in a place this size – but early morning and evening it’s pure magic. I spent most evenings out there with a glass of wine, watching the light change over the water. The terraces are positioned so you actually get different views depending on which one you choose, and the upper terrace catches the best sunset light. It’s a 3-star rating officially, but honestly it punches well above that weight class. The 9 rating from other guests makes complete sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but what it does, it does really well. The location gives you that perfect balance of being able to walk into Cannes proper when you want the action, but coming home to something that feels more like a friend’s gorgeous apartment than a typical tourist accommodation. Just don’t expect huge crowds or a concierge – this is more about having your own slice of the Côte d’Azur lifestyle, complete with morning coffee on your terrace and evening swims with a view.
