I was honestly skeptical when I first saw this place’s name – FRGK Rochelongue Vue Mer Panoramique, Terrasse & Plage Privée – because, let’s face it, that’s a mouthful and sometimes the longer the name, the more they’re trying to oversell something. But walking up to 127 Boulevard de la Croisette, I actually stopped in my tracks. The view from their terrace? It’s the kind that makes you forget you’re holding your phone until you realize you’ve been standing there for ten minutes just staring at the Mediterranean.

The thing about this spot is that it sits right on Pointe Croisette, which means you’re getting that panoramic sweep without the insane crowds you’ll find closer to the Palais des Festivals. I mean, you’re still in Cannes – it’s not exactly quiet – but there’s something more… I don’t know, breathable about this end of the Croisette. The private beach access is legit, by the way. Not one of those “technically private but actually shared with half the coast” situations. You actually get sand space without having to throw elbows at 8 AM to claim a decent spot. The beach itself has that pebbly-sand mix that’s typical for this stretch, and honestly, the water’s cleaner here than some of the more touristy sections.

What really got me though was how the staff actually seemed to know the area – like, really know it. When I asked about parking (because driving in Cannes is basically a blood sport), they didn’t just say “there’s parking nearby.” They told me exactly which streets to avoid during festival season and when the meter enforcement actually stops for the day. Small stuff, but it matters when you’re trying to figure out a new place. The rooms themselves are solidly comfortable – not luxury resort level, but you’re not paying luxury resort prices either. Three stars that actually feel like three stars, if that makes sense. The terrasse they mention in the name isn’t just marketing speak; it’s genuinely where you’ll want to spend your mornings with coffee, watching the boats drift by before the day gets too hot. I stayed here in late September, which turned out to be perfect timing – still warm enough for the beach, but without the summer madness when you can barely move on the Croisette. Honestly, this place just feels like someone who actually lives in Cannes decided to open a hotel, rather than some corporate chain that dropped a property here because the location looked good on paper.

  The apartment was very clean, in a very good and calm location with a stunning sea view. In the apartment we could find everything we needed for a short vacation in Cannes. Beach is in 1 min walk. Especially big thanks to our amazing host Sarah.
