Garden and beach sea view apartment Cannes
You know what surprised me most about this place? It actually delivers on that “garden and sea view” promise – and I say that as someone who’s been burned by misleading Airbnb photos before. The apartment sits in Résidence Cydonia on Boulevard du Midi Louise Moreau, which honestly sounds fancier than it is, but that’s part of its charm. It’s this quiet residential stretch that most tourists walk right past on their way to the glitzy Croisette stuff, but you’re literally a five-minute stroll from all that chaos when you want it.
The view from apartment 113 is… well, it’s not going to be on any postcards, but it’s genuinely lovely. You get this nice slice of the Mediterranean between the buildings, and the little garden courtyard below actually stays green year-round (the building management seems to care about it, unlike some places I’ve stayed). Mornings are the best – grab your coffee and sit by the window before the day gets too hot. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile – I mean that in a good way. The kitchen actually has decent knives and a coffee maker that works, the shower has proper water pressure, and someone clearly thought about storage space. It’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful in ways that matter when you’re staying more than a couple nights.
What really sold me on this spot is how it sits in Cannes’ rhythm. You’re far enough from the port area that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling home at 3 AM, but close enough to Boulevard Carnot that you can grab groceries at Monoprix without it being a whole expedition. The building’s pretty quiet during the day – seems to be mostly French families and a few other vacation rentals – and parking on the street is actually possible if you’re willing to walk a block or two (though I’d still recommend the paid lots during festival season, obviously). The 9.2 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for a 3-star place. It’s not trying to be the Martinez, and that’s exactly why it works. Sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base where you can make your own breakfast and spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in someone’s showroom.
