You know what struck me first about Happy Stay Cannes? The name actually undersells it — I mean, with those two terraces and that location on Rue du Général Ferrié, you’re basically getting a front-row seat to the whole Cannes experience without the crazy price tag of the palace hotels. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of the city center, nothing fancy from the outside, but honestly that’s part of its charm. You’re literally one minute from the beach (and I timed it, because I’m that person), which means you can hear the Mediterranean if you listen carefully from the upper terrace, especially in the evening when the traffic dies down.

The terraces are honestly the real selling point here — most 3-star places in Cannes don’t give you outdoor space like this, and the way they’re positioned, you get different light throughout the day. I spent way too much time on the morning terrace with coffee, watching locals do their market runs toward Forville (which is just a few blocks away, by the way). The afternoon terrace catches this perfect golden hour light that makes even your terrible vacation selfies look decent. What I really appreciated was how they’ve set up the spaces — actual comfortable seating, not those plastic chairs that scream “budget hotel.” The 8.7 rating makes total sense when you factor in these outdoor areas, because let’s be honest, you don’t come to Cannes to sit inside.

Location-wise, you’re in that sweet spot where you can walk to everything that matters but you’re not drowning in the festival crowds year-round. Rue du Général Ferrié is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep (the rooms facing the back are particularly peaceful), but you’re still close enough to La Croisette that you can easily stroll over for dinner or people-watching. The beach access is genuinely convenient — not just marketing speak — and you’ve got both the public sections and the private beach clubs within easy reach. I actually found myself popping back to the terraces between beach sessions, which you can’t really do when you’re staying further inland. The whole setup just works for the kind of Cannes trip where you want to feel like you’re living there for a few days rather than just passing through.

  Эти апартменты действительно прекрасно подходят для проживания по всем параметрам: расположение, комфорт, оснащение, сервис владельцев.Апартменты расположены в 5 минутах ходьбы от пляжа, парковой зоны, набережной круазет, центральной торговой улицы, большого удобного супермаркета и автобусной остановки.Все необходимое есть в квартире, в т.ч. удобное спальное место.Следует особо отметить тишину в ночное время в отличии от других мест близких к Круазет. Легкий доступ в апартменты при заселении также плюс. Доброжелательность и гостеприимство владельцев создает приятную атмосферу для отдыха.

  Emplacement très pratique et grand appartement. Bien équipé, literie confortable. Des attentions laissés par les propriétaires (un peu de café, produits pour la toilette), livres…
  
  What could be improved: Clés un peu dures à récupérer (boite à clés trop haut placée), ménage fait trop rapidement (articles cassés, plafonnier salle de bains ne marche pas). L'appartement est assez vétuste et mériterait des travaux (sol, électricité, absence de double vitrage). La rue n'est pas bruyante mais le simple vitrage fait qu'on entend vraiment beaucoup ce qui se passe (on est au 1er étage)
