You know what struck me first about this place? The location is honestly ridiculous – and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed at plenty of Cannes apartments over the years, but being three minutes from the Palais des Festivals while tucked away on Rue Saint Honoré gives you this perfect sweet spot. You’re close enough to walk to the red carpet madness (if that’s your thing), but far enough from the Croisette chaos that you can actually sleep at night.

The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. It’s a solid three-star setup – nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should. The Welcome to Cannes team clearly knows what they’re doing because the little touches are spot-on. Fresh linens that actually smell good, a kitchen stocked with the basics you’ll actually use, and – this matters more than you’d think – proper blackout curtains. During festival season or summer, you’ll thank me for mentioning those. The whole place feels like someone’s well-maintained pied-à-terre rather than a sterile rental, which explains that impressive 9-star rating from guests.

What I really appreciate is how it sits in the city center without feeling touristy. You’re a five-minute walk from Forville Market (go early, trust me), and there’s this excellent little boulangerie around the corner that locals actually use – not one of those overpriced tourist traps. The building itself is typical Cannes residential, so it’s quiet during the day but has some life in the evenings. Parking can be tricky in this area, honestly – street spots are like gold, and the nearest garage is a bit of a walk – but that’s pretty much par for the course anywhere in central Cannes. The trade-off is worth it though, because you can walk to both the old town and the beach without breaking a sweat, and the train station is close enough that day trips to Nice or Monaco are actually doable. I mean, when’s the last time you found a place where you could grab morning pastries, hit the beach, catch a film screening, and still be home for a proper dinner without touching a car or taxi?
