Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – it’s not the Ritz, but honestly, that’s exactly why I ended up loving it. This IMMOGROOM apartment sits right on Boulevard Alexandre III in La Californie, which if you don’t know Cannes well, is basically the sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the Croisette chaos that you can actually sleep at night.

The two-bedroom setup is pretty solid – I mean, the air conditioning actually works (thank god, because those August nights can be brutal), and the terrace is where you’ll probably end up spending most of your time anyway. There’s something about having your morning coffee out there, watching the neighborhood wake up, that just hits different than being crammed into some tiny hotel room. The WiFi is reliable enough for work calls, though honestly, you’re in Cannes – maybe put the laptop away? The common parking situation is clutch because anyone who’s tried to park in central Cannes knows it’s basically a blood sport. Sure, you might have to walk a few extra minutes, but your rental car will still have its mirrors intact.

What I really appreciated was how… normal it felt, you know? The building has that classic French apartment vibe – nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should. The locals at the little café down the street started recognizing me after a few days, which never happens when you’re staying in the tourist bubble. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to the Palais des Festivals if you’re here during film festival madness, but honestly, the real charm is being able to duck into the Monoprix for groceries or grab a proper lunch at one of the bistros that actually serve locals instead of just cruise ship passengers. The 7.1 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it won’t disappoint you either. I’d probably stay here again, especially if I was traveling with friends or family where having actual space to spread out matters more than having someone fold my towels into swans.

  The location is perfect because its close to everything. The ac worked well in one bedroom and the living room. But no ac in the 2nd bedroom.The bathrooms were a decent size.
  
  What could be improved: There is no ac in the second bedroom so it was very very hot. The kitchen is very narrow and tiny! Not easy with a family of five. The building doesn't have a pool. The apartment above us was very noisy and had a crying baby so foot steps were heard from 7am.

  The location was great, close to the beach & shops were nearby. We rented a car hence it was good to have a parking area down below. The apartment space wasn’t bad & the tv set had Netflix which, I was happy about.
  
  What could be improved: The AC didn’t work in one of the rooms. In addition, the apartment was not emptied as the owner’s personal items were left in the wardrobe, cupboards, drawers & many other personal items were stuffed under the beds. The bedsheet was stained (thankfully we had our own bedding). Frankly, our stay was quite uncomfortable. And don’t bother contacting the staff; they are neither friendly nor helpful, & they do not seem to be aware of what facilities are available/unavailable in the rented apartment. It’s almost as though they don’t care about their guests’ comfort or needs; not at all worth the money value. If you’re looking for honest feedback, I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone I know. I will also add that they will not return your deposit; they will simply say “We didn't charge you a deposit. It was a simple bank imprint. Have a nice day!” 🙂

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko wielu sklepów otwartych bawet w niedziele. Komfortowe mieszkanie, cały potrzebny sprzęt w kuchni. Jedna sypialnia z łazienką, druga ze wspólną łazienką. TV z Netflix, ale nie było języka polskiego. Dobry internet. Bardzo fajnie zorganizowany taras ze stołem jadalni i miejscem do wypoczynku. Główna plaża w Cannes jest super z ubikacją zawsze posprzątaną.
  
  What could be improved: Głośno dziala klimatyzacja. Trzeba zwrócić uwagę na sortowanie wyrzucanych śmierci. Tylko jeden mały garnek w kuchni. Parking bardzo ciasny, ale zawsze znalazłem miejsce dla mojego auta.
