IMMOGROOM – Apartment with terrace – AC – Parking
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like some corporate booking platform, but IMMOGROOM is actually this really solid apartment rental right in the heart of Cannes – and I mean properly in the thick of things on Boulevard Carnot. When I first walked up, I was honestly expecting something a bit more… sterile? But it’s got this lived-in charm that you don’t usually find in vacation rentals.
The terrace is where this place really shines, and I’m not just saying that because every other apartment in Cannes seems to overlook a wall or someone’s laundry. You’re up high enough to actually catch glimpses of the Mediterranean between the buildings, plus you get this perfect people-watching view of Boulevard Carnot below. The AC was a godsend during my July stay – seriously, don’t underestimate how brutal Cannes can get in summer, even with the sea breeze. And here’s something that’ll save you major headaches: they actually provide parking. I mean, if you’ve ever tried to find a spot during festival season or even just a busy summer weekend, you’ll know this is basically like striking gold. The spot’s secure too, which matters when you’re dealing with Cannes’ somewhat… creative… approach to traffic enforcement.
What I really appreciated was how the whole setup felt authentic rather than touristy. The building sits right where locals actually live and shop, so you’re walking distance to those little boulangeries and cafés that aren’t charging festival prices year-round. The Marché Forville is maybe a ten-minute walk, and honestly, grabbing fresh ingredients there and cooking on the terrace became my favorite morning routine. The apartment itself is well-maintained – not Instagram-perfect, but everything works properly and it’s clean. The 8.3 rating feels about right; it’s not going to blow you away with luxury details, but it delivers on all the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the street noise is actually kind of pleasant – you get that gentle urban hum during the day, but it quiets down nicely at night. Boulevard Carnot isn’t one of those crazy party streets, so you can actually sleep with the windows open when the weather’s nice.
