IMMOGROOM – Sea View – Balcony – 5 min from the beach – AC – Wifi
Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – IMMOGROOM’s apartment on Boulevard Alexandre III isn’t going to blow you away with luxury, but honestly? It does exactly what it promises, and sometimes that’s all you need in Cannes.
The location is actually pretty smart. You’re tucked away from the main Croisette chaos (which, trust me, gets absolutely bonkers during festival season), but still close enough that you can walk to the beach in about five minutes without breaking a sweat. The building itself is典型 French seaside – nothing fancy, but solid. What really sold me was stepping onto that balcony and actually seeing the Mediterranean stretching out there. I mean, it’s not a postcard-perfect panoramic view, but you can definitely see the water between the buildings, and there’s something satisfying about having your morning coffee while watching the early joggers along the coast. The AC works well too, which you’ll appreciate because those July afternoons can be brutal, and the sea breeze doesn’t always make it this far inland.
Inside, it’s clean and functional – think modern apartment rental rather than boutique hotel vibes. The wifi is solid (I was working remotely for part of my stay), and they’ve actually thought about the small stuff that matters. Good water pressure in the shower, decent kitchen setup if you want to grab groceries from the Monoprix down the street instead of eating out every meal, blackout curtains that actually block the light. The neighborhood itself has this nice residential feel – you’ll hear French families going about their day rather than constant tourist chatter, which I found oddly relaxing. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle around here, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. One thing to know: the 7.7 rating feels about right because while everything works and the place is well-maintained, don’t expect any wow moments or Instagram-worthy interiors. It’s more about having a comfortable base where you can decompress after long days exploring Cannes, Nice, or even day-tripping to Monaco. The beach access is genuinely convenient – you can easily pop back for a midday break or forgotten sunscreen without it feeling like a major expedition. For the price point and location, especially if you’re someone who spends most of their time out exploring rather than lounging in the room, this place delivers on its promises without any unpleasant surprises.
Cannes hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Le Suquet district to elegant palace hotels and modern luxury accommodations along La Croisette Boulevard.
