Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Cannes apartments, and this IMMOGROOM place on rue Shakespeare actually surprised me in the best way. First thing you notice pulling up? There’s an actual garage – which, honestly, if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near the Croisette during festival season, you’ll understand why that’s worth its weight in gold. The Carnot neighborhood isn’t the flashiest part of town, but that’s exactly why it works. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos to actually sleep at night, but close enough that you can walk to the good stuff without breaking a sweat.

The apartment itself is genuinely spacious – I mean, three real rooms, not those clever European “rooms” that are basically glorified closets. The terrace is where I ended up spending most of my mornings with coffee, and you know what? The view isn’t some postcard-perfect sea vista, but it’s got character. You can see a bit of daily Cannes life happening below, which I actually preferred to staring at other tourists. The air conditioning works properly too (thank god), because let me tell you, those July afternoons can be brutal even with the sea breeze. I’ve been in places where the AC is more like a gentle suggestion, but this one actually keeps the whole place comfortable.

What really sold me on this spot was the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen has proper equipment – not just the bare minimum – and there’s enough counter space to actually prepare meals if you want to save some euros. The wifi didn’t cut out every ten minutes like so many rental places, and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. The location puts you within walking distance of Marché Forville, which locals will tell you is where you want to go for groceries anyway, not those overpriced tourist shops near the beach. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly to explore beyond the obvious spots – the residential streets around here give you a much better sense of what Cannes is like when it’s not performing for visitors. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and you might hear the occasional neighbor, but for the price point and the genuine comfort level, it’s honestly a solid choice. Especially if you’re the type who wants to experience Cannes without feeling like you’re living in a hotel brochure.

    Very clean and well furbished apartment. Comfortable to stay in 4.

    What could be improved: Washing machine very noisy, garage door difficult to open, but these are really minor things.

    Gut ausgestattetes Apartment. Gute Lage

    What could be improved: Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Laut Anzeige gibt es eine Garage, die bei der Lage auch notwendig ist. Leider wurde uns diese erst nach einschalten von booking zur Verfügung gestellt. Ebenfalls ging der Fernseher nicht und das Internet fiel andauernd aus. Hier wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Anbieter das nicht reparieren kann. Also Service ist hier nicht zu erwarten.

    Perfecte ligging om alles te voet te bereiken.
    Mooi en praktische indeling van het appartement. Weinig last van de buren.
    Ook de garage is een pluspunt.

    What could be improved: Het kookvuur was heel vettig en hebben we zelf moeten opkuisen. Maar je betaalt wel 150 euro aan poetskosten.

    Bon emplacement, proche du boulevard Carnot donc des commerces. Garage appréciable vu les places de parking compliqués à trouver !

    What could be improved: Durant 8 j nous n'avions plus de télé, la box bouygues étant tombée en panne! ;( . Malgré nos appels répétés à immogroom, la personne n'a pas réussi à trouver un réparateur !! Bravo à la société Bouygues !!! :((

    L’appartement a été remis entièrement à neuf en fin 2022. Il est très bien agencé, les pièces sont grandes, les WC sont séparés de la SdB. Il possède tous les équipements essentiels. La terrasse est orienté à l’Est, nous avons donc apprécié les petits déjeuners avec le soleil levant. L’appartement est traversant, et même par 30°C extérieur, on peut se passer de la climatisation. La clim est très silencieuse. Le garage est très grand. L’immeuble est très bien entretenu. La rue n’est pas bruyante.

    What could be improved: L’ouverture de la porte coulissante en acier du garage, il faut beaucoup de force pour résister aux frottements des roulettes dans les rails !!.

    Superappartement met airco, 700 m van het drukke centrum van Cannes. Prive parkeerplaats. Alles aanwezig, wasmachine, nespresso, vaatwasser, vriezer. Heel erg naar ons zin gehad.
