You know what struck me first about Le Bluebay? It’s actually tucked away on Avenue du Docteur Raymond Picaud, which honestly most tourists don’t even know exists – and that’s exactly why I loved it. I mean, you’re still in Cannes, but you’re sort of removed from all that Croisette madness, which can get pretty overwhelming during festival season. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” like some of the flashier places along the main strip. When I walked into our two-bedroom apartment, the first thing that hit me was how the light just pours in through these massive windows facing the sea. The view isn’t just marketing speak either – you actually wake up to proper Mediterranean blues stretching out forever, not some sliver of water between buildings.

What really won me over was the attention to stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The kitchen is properly equipped (I’m talking real knives and decent cookware, not the usual hotel apartment nonsense), and there’s this gorgeous swimming pool that somehow never felt crowded, even when the place seemed full. The parking situation – and trust me, this is crucial in Cannes – is handled beautifully. You get an actual designated spot, which is worth its weight in gold during summer when finding parking near the beaches is basically impossible. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a wealthy friend’s apartment than staying in a typical hotel, if that makes sense.

Honestly, the 9.8 rating doesn’t surprise me at all. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right, from the way they handle check-in (quick, personal, no fuss) to how they maintain the common areas. I noticed they keep the pool area immaculate without being intrusive about it – you know how some places have staff constantly hovering around? Not here. The location works brilliantly too because you can walk to the main beaches and shopping in about fifteen minutes, but when you want to escape the tourist crowds, you just head back to this quiet residential street where locals actually live. The neighborhood has a few little cafés and a proper boulangerie within a couple blocks – the kind of spots where you start recognizing faces after a few days. It’s that sweet spot between being connected to everything Cannes offers while having a genuine base that feels like home. For a three-star place, it punches way above its weight class, and I’d honestly choose it over some of the pricier options closer to the convention center.

Visitors often choose Cannes apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent French Riviera destination.

  Our stay was outstanding. Perfect spot for 2 women visiting Cannes. The view is beautiful. The size of the rooms were perfect and the beds were beyond comfortable. I slept better than I did at home.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. Loved it all…. wait… I could not figure out how to work the oven. Instructions would have been helpful. But everything else was great!

  We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was fabulous, really modern and clean, large comfortable lounge and balcony, great location within 2 mins walk to the beach and 20mins to the centre/marina. Everything was provided. The pool was lovely too and never very busy. Julia and David looked after us really well too even with our late arrival.

  Die Unterkunft war sehr stilvoll, praktisch und sehr modern eingerichtet. Vor allem die Küche war mit den modernsten Geräten ausgestattet und auch alles nötige, was man zum Kochen braucht. Es hat sogar einen Quooker.
  
  Die Wohnung hat genügend Platz für eine 4 köpfige Familie. Viel Stauraum in den Zimmern und auch hier mit vielen Details eingerichtet, was das Wohnen noch komfortabler macht.
  Sogar gab es eine riesige Strandtasche, die man nutzen konnte, es passte wirklich alles rein für eine Familie für einen Strandtag.
  
  Was wir besonders geschätzt haben war die Waschmaschine mit integriertem Tumbler im Badezimmer. Somit konnten wir mit praktisch sauberen Kleidern die Rückreise antreten.
  
  Die Kinder liebten den Pool. Der Pool war nie überlaufen.
  
  Check-in verlief sehr unkompliziert wie auch die Schlüsselrückgabe. Julia und David waren immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Und um die Tipps und Restaurantsempfehlungen waren wir sehr dankbar.
  
  Die Lage ist gut, der Strand in paar wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Trotzdem empfehlen wir ein Auto, damit man andere Strände oder Städte flexibler besuchen kann.
  
  Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Wir fühlten uns sehr sehr wohl.
