The hotel doesn’t have all the bells and whistles (no spa, no rooftop bar), but what they do have works well. The breakfast setup is simple but uses local suppliers, and there’s something to be said for starting your day with actual French butter and jam instead of industrial hotel spread. I stayed here in late September when the summer crowds were thinning out, and honestly, it felt like I’d stumbled onto something the guidebooks hadn’t completely discovered yet.
