The studio itself is pretty compact – I mean, we’re talking about Cannes real estate here, so don’t expect sprawling rooms – but it’s smartly laid out in that European way where every corner actually serves a purpose. What really sold me was stepping out onto that terrace they mention in the name. It’s not huge, but honestly, having your own outdoor space in the center of Cannes during festival season? That’s worth its weight in gold. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the locals head to work while the tourists were still figuring out where to get breakfast. The area around Boulevard Carnot has this authentic neighborhood feel – you’ve got your regular boulangerie on the corner, a couple of cafés where the servers actually remember your order after a few days, and it’s just a pleasant 10-minute walk down to the port area.

What I really appreciated was how walkable everything felt from here. You can stroll to the Palais des Festivals without breaking a sweat, but you’re also close to those little side streets behind Rue d’Antibes where the actual good restaurants are – not the tourist traps right on the main drag. The check-in was straightforward, the place was clean, and the terrace setup actually worked better than I expected for evening drinks. Sure, you can hear some street noise from Boulevard Carnot during the day, but it quiets down at night, and frankly, complete silence in central Cannes is pretty much impossible anyway. If you’re looking for that authentic “living in Cannes” vibe without paying Croisette prices, this spot hits the mark. Just don’t expect a concierge or room service – you’re basically renting a well-located local apartment, which is exactly what some of us prefer.
