You know what caught me off guard about Le Seaview? The name actually undersells it. I mean, yeah, there’s definitely a sea view – you’re right on Boulevard Cointet, which puts you maybe a two-minute walk from the beach – but it’s really the whole vibe that gets you. The building itself (it’s called Daphné, and you’re on the ground floor, which honestly makes hauling luggage so much easier) has this laid-back residential feel that’s refreshing when you’re in Cannes. You’re not in some massive hotel complex where you feel like cattle being herded around. Instead, it’s more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste and a pool.

The pool area is where this place really shines, and I get why “farniente” is literally in the name – it’s Italian for “doing nothing,” and that’s exactly what you’ll want to do here. The whole setup encourages you to just… exist. Grab a coffee in the morning, float around the pool when it gets hot (which, let’s be real, is most of the time if you’re visiting between May and September), then maybe wander down to the beach when you feel like it. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – Boulevard Cointet isn’t one of those crazy busy streets, so you can actually relax without constant traffic noise. The 8.4 rating makes total sense because while it’s not trying to be the Ritz, it nails what it’s going for perfectly.

Look, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or a concierge who knows your coffee order by heart. But honestly? That’s part of the charm. The location alone – you can walk to the Palais des Festivals if you’re here during the film festival madness, but you’re far enough away that you won’t be dealing with the worst of the crowds. Plus, there’s actual parking nearby, which anyone who’s tried to drive in Cannes will tell you is basically a miracle. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted that sweet spot between being close to everything but not in the middle of the tourist chaos. It’s the kind of place where you remember why you came to the French Riviera in the first place – not to rush around checking things off a list, but to actually slow down and enjoy being somewhere beautiful.

  The view.
  The location was very good but if you don't have a car, expect to pay around 15 euros for an uber in and out of the city.
  
  What could be improved: The 'Facilities' weren't as stated on booking.com's website….. a few examples:
  
  Lockbox: none. We had to find the key in the sand under a rock in the garden.
  Trash cans: There wasn't one in the tiny kitchen, only a small one in the bathroom.
  Free toiletries: none
  Toilet: the seat was broken.
  Toilet paper: Half a roll for 4 nights!
  Shampoo: none
  Body soap: none
  2 beds: one double bed and one double sofa bed but only 2 pillows.
  Dining area/table: only outside on the balcony
  Electric kettle: none
  Toaster: none
  
  Nowhere to put things as the main bed is folded down from the wall, thereby blocking the wardrobes. When both beds are down, there is no room left to move. It was very cramped for 2 single people. There were also several things needing maintenance.
  
  The studio 'manager' didn't answer my last 2 calls or text messages. The owner claimed 'the description corresponds to the studio' and didn't offer any assistance.
  
  Finally, it helps if you know French. The complex is called Croix des Gardes, not Le Seaview so even the taxi driver was confused.

  What could be improved: No bath soaps or shampoo provided even through in the description It was written clearly free toiletries.
  Floor in front of foldable bed was wet and I had to clean with a mop. There was only 1 toilet roll which was not even full. Dark colored bath towels in very old condition. No toaster, or oven. Microwave oven does not work.
  Coffee machine was present but no capsules so in the end, useless. There was nothing to support the use of a kitchen. Old plates, and even older pots and pans. I thought there was an extra room but we found a foldable bed instead.
  There is literally no space in flat to move around. Infinity pool is advertised in description but can be used only in August and September.. Pictures advertised gives you a feeling out door garden is included but it's garden area is not accessible. In the end, a truly dissapointing experience with cheaper value for money paid.

  Хорошая территория вокруг дома. Парковочное место в гараже. Хороший вид из окна. Большая трасса. Было тепло. Не плохой телевизор.
  
  What could be improved: Нет мусорника. Нет чайника (пришлось греть воду в старой кастрюле). Было грязно. Пришлось перемывать всю посуду от остатков еды. Пол был грязный. Первым делом после долгой поездки нам пришлось подметать полы (пылесос не работает). Стиральную машину удалось запустить после двадцати попыток. Мебель нуждается в ремонте. На раскладном диване удобно сидеть, но не удобно спать. Крашка унитаза сломана и всёвремя скатывается в сторону. Если привести в порядок квартиру то можно поставить оценку лучше. На фотографиях квартира выглядела намного лучше чем в реальности. Много ненужных предметов в квартире, а нужных нехватает. Квартира маленькая и места там не хватает.
