From Le Windsor, you’re maybe a 15-minute walk down to all the action, but when you want to escape the madness (and trust me, during festival season you will), you can actually breathe up here. The staff clearly knows their regulars, which is always a good sign, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no pretentious nonsense, just friendly efficiency.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You know how some Cannes hotels have you listening to party boats until 3 AM? Not here. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they’re properly comfortable with decent air conditioning that actually works – crucial in summer when the Côte d’Azur gets properly sweltering. The bathroom was spotless, good water pressure, and honestly that’s half the battle with French hotels sometimes. Parking can be a bit tricky around there (welcome to the French Riviera), but the neighborhood has character. You’ve got actual bakeries and cafés where locals grab their morning coffee, not just tourist traps serving €8 croissants. There’s this little épicerie around the corner that stays open late, which saved me when I needed basics after everything else had closed. The walk down to Plage du Midi is pleasant too – you cut through some lovely residential streets instead of fighting the crowds on the main drags. For the price point and that solid 8 rating, Le Windsor delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, authentic base in one of Cannes’ prettier neighborhoods, run by people who actually care about hospitality.

Visitors often choose Cannes apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent French Riviera destination.

  In general the location is good in terms of beach, city centre, ammenities and supermarket. The terrace is very nice.
  
  What could be improved: There is no washing machine and the property manager does not chanege towels, so this should be stressed clearly within description. If you do not change towels you need to have a washing machine, since we stayed for 2 weeks. It is a bit noisy due to significant traffic in the street although it seems like a quite neighbourhood. Beds are narrow and not very comfortsble. No internet.
