Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Les Légendes YourHostHelper on Rue Lacour, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place in Cannes. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you’re not trying too hard to impress anyone, and this little spot gets that completely.
The thing about staying here is the location actually makes perfect sense once you understand Cannes a bit. You’re in Pointe Croisette, which means you’re close enough to all the glitzy stuff – I mean, you can walk to the Palais des Festivals in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling ambitious – but you’re not paying those insane beachfront prices or dealing with the constant circus of tourists stumbling around at all hours. Rue Lacour itself is pretty quiet, honestly, which was a relief after spending days in the mayhem of La Croisette proper. The neighborhood has this sort of residential feel where you’ll see actual locals doing their grocery shopping and walking their dogs, not just people posing for Instagram shots every five feet.
What surprised me most was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth – no weird complications or hidden fees that somehow materialize out of nowhere. The rooms are clean and functional without trying to be something they’re not, and honestly, that’s refreshing in a place like Cannes where everything can feel so over-the-top. I could hear some street noise in the mornings, but nothing that kept me awake, and the bed was actually comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the night rearranging pillows and cursing my booking choices. There’s something to be said for a place that just works without a lot of drama – you know, reliable hot water, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, staff who remember your name after the first day. The kind of details that matter when you’re trying to enjoy your vacation instead of constantly problem-solving your accommodation.
I think what really won me over was realizing this place gets the balance right. You’re staying somewhere that feels connected to the real Cannes – not the film festival fantasy version, but the actual Mediterranean town where people live and work year-round. From here, you can easily walk down to explore the Marché Forville in the mornings when it’s bustling with vendors selling incredible produce and flowers, or wander through Le Suquet’s winding streets without feeling like you’re on some tourist conveyor belt. And when you do want to hit the fancy beach clubs or people-watch along the Croisette, it’s totally doable – you just get to retreat back to somewhere that doesn’t cost a fortune and doesn’t feel like a stage set. For the price point and that 8.2 rating, it makes sense. Sometimes you don’t need marble everything and a concierge in a top hat; sometimes you just need a solid base that lets you actually experience the place you came to visit.

Reviews
Beautiful design, comfortable and good location. – Sanne from Netherlands – 11 December 2023 (8/10)
Design is beautiful, spacious and everything you need is there. Location is very convenient. Big supermarket (Casino) is just a 5-minute walk and close to the boulevard (10-minute walk – Martinez side) and close to main shopping street (5min).
What could be improved: No Wi-Fi during our stay.. Which is not very convenient if you are there partly for work. YourHostHelper didn't help or solve. Response was really bad and nobody came to help. This is my only complaint, however, quite important one. Disappointed in the "service" of YourHost"Helper".Superb – Anna from Greece – 7 December 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is really well equipped and furnished. Easy check in process
Interior just exaxtly my style very comfy and elegant – Andrea from Hungary – 10 June 2025 (10/10)
I liked all, for sure I’ll go back there
I can think that is possible to take that app next time – Pawel from Poland – 18 September 2023 (10/10)
Comfort and location – not so far away from the CYF, not so fa away from Palace. Apartment are located in old building but is renew and modern. Great is big windowe in saloon with nice view.
What could be improved: broken door handles and bad shower drain – floods the bathroom when bathing and very slow to drain. Must be repaired ! I couldn't leave the car until 3 pm even the next guests don't check in until 4 pm – but it is not so important (car parking) – only discomfort.Great per general. But not worth the money I paid. – Corina from Romania – 6 July 2025 (5/10)
Design wise.
All apliances were good- washing machine, dryer (except for fridge- it froze all my products, all of them, ice rock)
Pretty plates &cuttlery.
Very clean when I arrived (except for sofa)
Amazing views!
What could be improved: 1. Smell of the plastic window blinders- gets heated and is too chemical – would deff sugest removing , not just puting an even more chemical perfume difuser to mask it.
(Plus, I asked to have the perfume removed from the apartment and they told me to just take it out on the balcony – therefore I could not use the balcony anymore.
2. I expected to have salt& pepper in an appartment I rented for 2 weeks.
3. Same goes for washing powder (clothes and dishes) one capsule of detergent is just not enough. For so much money you can have a stash of these somewhere. Also, 2 garbage bags?
4. I asked for extra linens, so as not to sleep on the same sheets for 2 weeks (especially with the spf and sea salt) – I did not get them. Only extra towels. Would not kill anyone to leave some extra linens and kitchen towels in the apartment.
5. The wall area below the windows needs maintanance – it started to peel of in a very not nice way.
6. White canvas couch – super dirty!!!! Should be cleaned more often – I avoided touching it altogether!
7. Very little storage space for clothes / only one proper dressing. But very little space for unpacking.
8. Very noisy from street below and very hot from being in the sun all day long. I could hear all the cars with the windows shut in the sleeping rooms.
9. Remove the small magnifing mirror from the bath – scary and distorting. It was ok!.. nothing special but value for money. – Ian from United Kingdom – 26 September 2023 (6/10)

What could be improved: ParkingUna bella esperienza – Monica from Italy – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
Ottima posizione. Zona residenziale tranquilla e discreta, pulita. Vicino al mare e al centro. La zona giorno molto luminosa, vivibile ed accessoriata anche per lunghi soggiorni. Arredamento ed elettrodomestici nuovi e funzionali. Biancheria a disposizione e letti molto buoni. Ben riscaldato ed uniformemente.
What could be improved: La zona bagno, piccola e disposta in modo non molto ottimale. Manca la tv nella zona giorno, e' situata solo nella camera piccola e tra l'altro non aveva segnale.Très bel appartement – Candice from France – 18 July 2024 (8/10)
La décoration, le confort, la luminosité
