It’s tucked away on Boulevard Alexandre III in this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the buzz from the Croisette but far enough that you can actually sleep at night. I mean, we’re talking about a 3-star place here, so don’t expect marble lobbies or concierge services, but honestly – sometimes that’s exactly what you want in Cannes. The staff actually remembers your name after day two, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole vibe that feels like a relief after walking past all those intimidating palace hotels down the street.

The location is honestly brilliant, even if it doesn’t look like much from the outside. You’re maybe a 7-minute walk to the beach – and I’m talking an actual leisurely stroll, not one of those “5 minutes” that turns into a sweaty 15-minute march. The Palais des Festivals is right there too, which during festival season means you’ll spot the occasional celebrity assistant grabbing coffee at the corner café (the one with the blue awning – locals swear by their croissants). What I really appreciated was how easy it is to duck back to the hotel when the Croisette gets overwhelming, which, let’s be honest, it absolutely will. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the beds are actually decent and the AC works, which in my book counts for a lot during those sticky Mediterranean summers. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in this area, but there’s a public garage about two blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget.

Here’s the thing about staying at Les Liserons – it’s got that 8.3 rating for good reason, and it’s not because of luxury amenities. It’s because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. The breakfast is simple but fresh (great jam selection, surprisingly), the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, and when you need restaurant recommendations, the front desk folks will steer you toward places where locals eat instead of tourist traps. I stayed here in late September when the crowds had thinned out, and there’s something magical about having Cannes feel almost… normal? You can walk the palm-lined streets without fighting for space, and the hotel becomes this perfect home base for exploring the old town or taking day trips along the coast. Sure, it’s not Instagram-worthy luxury, but sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just get the basics right and let the destination speak for itself.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Cannes at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak May festival season when the city hosts its world-famous cinema celebrations.

  Large apartment in a nice area perfect for our stay that mixed work and family.

  What could be improved: NO connection wifi and they NEVER fix the problem during our stay. We need it to be in touch with our jobs and my cousins (On holidays) need to activate the roaming (from Argentina) with additional cost.
  I got the email with the information to go to the parking, but the "green badge with the keys" never been in the box when I went to pick up the keys. (we park the car outside during the all stay).
  Even they reply to our whatup (asking for help asap for the wifi), but the solution never came. The apartment is really good and the area is amazing. The wifi connection is very importan nowadays and it seems they never tried to fix it.

  Тихая местность вдали от центра (особенно важно во время кинофестиваля), наличие бесплатной подземной парковки!, достаточное количество туалетных принадлежностей, просторная квартира, большая терраса, бесконтактное заселение. Близко 2-3 продуктовых магазина. Электрические батареи во всех комнатах и в 1 ванной. 3 туалета.
  Шум от железной дороги – не мешал.

  2. Был ремонт дороги – шумно (куда выходят окна спальни и гостиной).
  3. Плохо работал пылесос (плохо всасывал), нельзя было убраться самостоятельно.
