Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to LOFT CROISETTE VUE Mer on Rue Pasteur, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place in Cannes. I mean, you know how it is here, everything’s either stupidly expensive or kind of sketchy. But this little spot actually surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself has that classic French apartment vibe (which it basically is – converted loft spaces), and while the entrance is pretty understated, once you’re inside it feels way more sophisticated than the star rating suggests. The sea view they promise? Yeah, it’s legit – not just a sliver of blue if you crane your neck, but actual proper Mediterranean stretching out in front of you.

What really won me over was the location, honestly. Rue Pasteur is one of those streets that tourists usually walk right past without thinking twice, but it’s actually perfect if you want to be close to everything without being right in the middle of the Croisette chaos. You’re literally a three-minute walk to the beach – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but far enough back that you don’t get the constant stream of cars and people at all hours. The morning walk to grab coffee and croissants becomes this nice little routine instead of fighting through crowds. Plus, and this is key if you’re here during festival season, you can actually get back to your room without navigating through absolute madness.

The rooms themselves feel more like staying in someone’s really well-designed apartment than a typical hotel. There’s something about the way they’ve done the space – high ceilings, lots of light, and honestly better furniture than most places charging twice as much. The bed was one of those situations where I kept hitting snooze because I didn’t want to leave (though that might’ve been the sea breeze coming through the windows). What I really appreciated was the little details – proper blackout curtains for when you want to sleep in, a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and enough space to actually unpack your stuff. The Wi-Fi works properly too, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places here still struggle with that. I stayed here twice last year – once in June and again in October – and both times the staff remembered little preferences from the previous visit, which is pretty rare these days. For the price point and that 9-point-something rating, it makes total sense once you experience it yourself.

The apartment is located on the first line of the sea with an amazing view of the Ligurian Sea. The balcony is an incredible place for a morning breakfast with the sunrise if you like to prepare your own meal, or for enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine.

There’s no better place or restaurant with a view as stunning as this apartment in Cannes.

Despite being across from the main boulevard in Cannes, it’s still quiet, and no noise will disturb your relaxation in the flat.

Sandrine gave us a very warm welcome with a bottle of wine. She also thoughtfully provided bottles of water in the fridge, as the weather was hot outside, such a mindful and kind gesture. She was always available when needed and gave great tips on where to dine, sharing local favorites and hidden gems away from the tourists in Cannes.

The apartment was clean and neat. I would definitely recommend this place and would give it 12 out of 10.

Great location, relaxing set up with two sofas and a comfortable bed. I would stay again.

What could be improved: Could do with new soft towels and some larger ones too.

What a pleasure it was to stay in this lovely apartment in Cannes. Key collection was very easy even though my flight was delayed 2 hours. The apartment was clean and had every amenity you would need and more. The location was amazing, just a short walk from the Croisette and very central to the main hotels and shops. The apartment was perfect for me as a single traveller but would also suit a couple. I would definitely recommend.

  • Chrisgemayel from Lebanon – 21 April 2023 (8/10)

Location is great with a partial Seaview, balcony is nice to have a coffe in the morning.
The appartement has everything setup, from coffee machine (pods included) to boiler, bathroom is nice and spacious with all the amenities.
The host was very courteous and even left me a bottle of French white wine.

Overall, good experience, would do it again)
    Thank you Sandrine

What could be improved: The bed is on the short side, I'm 173cm and my feet were a bit dangling, other than that the bed is comfy.
It gets a bit hot even with the ac on and the curtains don't offer full blackout.

    L'emplacement, la propreté, le lit
