Luxury 4 Stars Apartment with 2 Terraces, Cannes Croisette
You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually on Rue Latour-Maubourg, which honestly most tourists walk right past without realizing they’re missing out on one of the quieter pockets in Cannes city center. I mean, you’re still incredibly close to all the Croisette action – like a genuine five-minute stroll to the beach – but you escape that constant buzz of scooters and street performers that can drive you a bit mad after a few days.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish French cousin decided to rent out their place rather than some corporate hotel setup. Those two terraces they mention? Well, one’s perfect for morning coffee (gets the early sun), and the other catches this gorgeous golden light in the evening – I actually found myself timing my day around when to use which one. The space has that lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake, with proper French doors that open wide and let the Mediterranean breeze flow through. The kitchen’s actually functional too, which sounds boring but matters when you want to grab fresh stuff from Marché Forville (that’s the main market, about ten minutes walk) and not eat out every single meal.
What really won me over was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to Boulevard de la Croisette that you can practically smell the sea air from the terraces, but far enough from the mayhem that you’ll actually sleep at night. The Palais des Festivals is right there when you want to people-watch or catch whatever’s happening, but you can also duck into the old town streets – Suquet area – when you want something more authentic than hotel restaurant food. Parking’s always tricky in Cannes (let’s be honest), but there’s actually decent street parking on this street if you’re not here during Festival season, when all bets are off anyway. The whole setup just works – it’s got that four-star polish without feeling stuffy, and honestly, an 8.9 rating feels about right. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next Cannes trip before you’ve even checked out.
