Hotel Description
You know what surprised me about this place? The minute I walked into this flat on Rue Jean Jaures, I actually forgot I was staying in what’s technically just a rental apartment. There’s something about the way they’ve set it up that feels genuinely luxurious without being stuffy – and honestly, that balcony is going to ruin you for other accommodations.
The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the absolute chaos of La Croisette. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the festival madness and fancy beach clubs, but Jean Jaures is this quieter street where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. The morning light hits that balcony just right around 9 AM – I ended up having coffee out there every single day, watching locals head to work while tourists were still figuring out which café to Instagram. There’s a little boulangerie right around the corner (the one with the green awning, you can’t miss it) where the croissants are honestly better than some hotel breakfast spreads I’ve paid extra for. The flat itself has this lived-in elegance thing going on – everything works properly, the shower pressure is actually decent, and whoever decorated it understood that people want to feel like they’re staying somewhere special, not just crashing in someone’s spare room.
What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. Cannes can be pretty intense during festival season – well, during any season really – but this street settles down after dinner service ends at the restaurants nearby. You get these moments where you can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and actually hear yourself think. The building has that solid old French construction, so you’re not dealing with paper-thin walls or creaky floors. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key exchange dance you sometimes get with rentals. Parking is… well, it’s Cannes, so don’t expect miracles, but there’s a public garage about two blocks away that’s not completely robbery-priced. The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the Carlton or whatever, but it delivers on what matters: comfort, location, and that feeling like you’ve got your own little corner of the city rather than just another hotel room.
Early hotels booking in Cannes is essential during major events like the Film Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned glamorous atmosphere and luxury shopping.

Great location, very clean and beds were very comfortable
What could be improved: Only thing would be to a toilet in the shower rooms. One toilet between 6 girls was a struggleKahen from United States – 26 June 2024 (9/10)
Location is excellent and a close walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, everything in the city center. Large condo with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet. 2 large beds plus a pullout couch. All windows have automatic metal shades for both privacy, protection, and heat control. AC worked well. Condo is very modern and well-stocked with all sorts of items in the kitchen, umbrellas, play pen for kids, and more. Great bakery right outside the building and, again, walking distance form anything you could want.
What could be improved: Neither of the towel drying racks functioned? We had to leave at 6 AM which was after the 12AM closing time and before the 8AM opening time of the Hotel du Nord where keys needed to be picked up and dropped off. After much back and forth, we were told to leave the keys on the table in the apartment. The hotel is several blocks away by the train station, so picking up and dropping off the keys was a pain versus other apartments that use digital entry or lockboxes. That sais, best apartment of our stay out of 3 in Paris, St. Tropez, and Cannes.خالد from United Arab Emirates – 4 September 2023 (9/10)

Our party enjoyed the location of the property and the apartment itself was good apart from the up-keep of it.
