Hotel Description

You know what hit me first about this place? The view. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of Cannes hotels that promise “sea views,” but when you walk into this studio on the Croisette, the Mediterranean literally fills your entire window frame. It’s one of those moments where you actually stop unpacking and just stare for a minute.

The thing about being right at 65 Boulevard de la Croisette is that you’re essentially living on Cannes’ main strip – which sounds touristy until you realize how incredibly convenient it actually is. You can stumble down to Plage du Martinez in your flip-flops, grab coffee at that little café next to the Majestic (locals go there too, not just tourists), or walk to the Palais des Festivals in about eight minutes. I timed it because, well, I’m that person. The studio itself is honestly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – nothing fancy, but everything works. The kitchenette is tiny but functional if you want to grab groceries from the Monoprix up the street, and the bed is comfortable enough that you won’t wake up cranky. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re literally on one of the busiest boulevards on the French Riviera. Double-paned windows, I think – anyway, whatever they did works.

Here’s the thing though – and maybe this is why it scores an 8.8 – it’s the details that make this place work. The shower has decent water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day on the beach), there’s actual closet space for your stuff, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. Plus, honestly, waking up to that panoramic sea view never gets old, even if you’re there for a week. The building itself is one of those classic Croisette structures, so you get that old-school Cannes vibe without paying Majestic prices. Parking is… well, it’s Cannes, so park wherever you can find a spot and walk. But really, once you’re there, you won’t need your car much anyway. The location puts you in the sweet spot where you can hit the glamorous stuff during the day and then duck into the side streets behind the Croisette for dinner at places where actual French people eat. I mean, you could blow your budget at the hotel restaurants if you want, but why would you when you’ve got this whole food scene literally at your doorstep?

Early hotels booking in Cannes is essential during major events like the Film Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned glamorous atmosphere and luxury shopping.
