The T2 apartment setup is really well thought out – I mean, you’ve got a proper living space that doesn’t feel cramped, plus a separate bedroom that actually has decent blackout curtains (trust me, this matters when you’re trying to sleep off a late night at the festival bars). The kitchen is small but functional enough that I could make coffee in the morning without having to venture out immediately, which honestly saved me a fortune over the week I stayed. What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – Rue Edith Cavell is residential enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM, but you’re still close enough to walk to Rue d’Antibes for shopping or down to the beach without breaking a sweat. The building has that solid, older French construction feel, so you’re not hearing every footstep from upstairs neighbors.

The location is actually genius if you know Cannes at all – you’re positioned perfectly between the train station (super handy for day trips to Monaco or Nice) and the old town up on Mont Chevalier, plus there’s a little local market just two streets over on Rue Meynadier where you can grab fresh stuff without paying tourist prices. Parking can be tricky in this neighborhood, but honestly that’s true anywhere in Cannes unless you want to pay hotel rates. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no fancy concierge nonsense, just practical information about wifi passwords and garbage collection days. I appreciated that they didn’t try to oversell the place; it’s comfortable, clean, and positioned perfectly for people who want to experience Cannes without feeling like they’re living in a resort bubble. The apartment gets great morning light too, which made those slow coffee mornings feel particularly civilized before heading out to deal with the beautiful madness that is downtown Cannes.

  Great location, brand new and superbly designed.
  With kitchen, and welcome amenities (water in fridge and chocolate cakes).
  
  What could be improved: Could have better hangers – thin and plastic ones could be replaced. Minor detail.
