Look, I’ll be straight with you about Palm Beach Appartement Proche Mer – it’s one of those places that grows on you. When I first walked up Rue du Cros Vieil (which honestly took me three tries to pronounce correctly), I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 3-star spot in this part of Cannes. But here’s the thing about staying in Pointe Croisette – you’re actually in this quieter pocket that most tourists completely miss, and that’s kind of brilliant. The apartment itself is… well, it’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s got this lived-in comfort that I actually prefer over those sterile hotel rooms where you’re afraid to touch anything. The kitchen’s small but functional – I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to, which saved me a fortune considering restaurant prices around here.

What really won me over though was the location, and I don’t mean that in the generic travel brochure way. You’re about a ten-minute walk to the beach, but more importantly, you’re close enough to hear the morning market vendors setting up on Rue Forville without being right in the chaos. There’s this little boulangerie just around the corner – I never caught the name, but the woman behind the counter always remembered I liked my coffee extra strong. The 7.6 rating makes sense when you think about it – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises. Some nights you can hear a bit of street noise, especially during festival season (avoid May if you’re a light sleeper), but honestly, that’s just Cannes being Cannes.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: parking is actually doable in this neighborhood, unlike down by the Palais where it’s basically impossible. The check-in was refreshingly simple – no pretentious lobby nonsense, just practical people who know their neighborhood. You know what I loved most? Walking back from dinner along the coast, then cutting inland through these narrow streets that smell like jasmine and sea salt, knowing I had this little base that felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. It’s not fancy, but it’s real Cannes living without the tourist markup, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Lokalita byla bezvadná, v blízkosti pláže i centra. Problém trochu s parkováním osobního auta, ale v blízkosti bylo bezplatné parkoviště, které bývalo většinou volné (ovšem mezi 22:00-6:00 bylo zavřené). Apartmán byl pěkný, ale nevybavený mikrovlnnou troubou a ledničku jsme museli složitě čistit a zapojovat…. Nemělo to ale žádný zásadní vliv na náš pocit z ubytování.

  Второй раз останавливались. Всё очень нравится. До пляжа пять минут. Пляж очень хороший и не такой многолюдный как остальные. Район спокойный. Большие апартаменты с большим балконом. Есть кондиционер в каждой комнате. На кухне все необходимое. Не хватает только стиральной машинки. Все остальное супер. Приедем еще.

  В апартаментах есть всё( кроме стиральной машинки) Все очень продуманно. Удобно, красиво. Красивый вид с балкона. Большой балкон. Есть и лежаки для балкона. Нам очень понравилось.

  Je poste cet avis car il est insupportable d’être à ce point pris en otage en qualité de consommateur, et de pigeons, en qualité de touriste ; à l’heure d’internet et de l’hyper communication et accès à l’information.
  Vous prenez vos clients pour des déb****, avez des prestations hors de prix et sans qualité.
  Vous n’êtes autre qu’un marchand de sommeil de luxe considérant que vous proposez des locations à la semaine à un prix supérieur qu’une nuitée d’Hôtel trois étoiles (alors qu’à l’hôtel, la chambre et les draps sont propres).
  Arriver dans un appartement BOOKING dont vous avez la responsabilité de commercialisation, vous tiens en responsabilité parce que vous êtes « agent immobilier » et que vous faite « signer un bail et prenez une caution ».
  Prétendre qu’il y a un stationnement avec la location, alors qu’il s’agit en réalité du stationnement urbain (certes gratuit comme vous savez tourner la chose avec de solides arguments) est grotesque et n’est autre que prendre vraiment les gens pour des idiots.
  Il n’y a pas de doute que vous profitez de la manne financière intarissable qu’il y a dans cette ville, et vous retranchez derrière un site internet basé à l’étranger.
  L’appartement était sale, la vaisselle a du être lavée intégralement à mon arrivé, il n’y avait qu’un malheureux rouleaux de papier hygiénique et même pas une éponge ou quoique ce soit pour rentrer décemment dans un appartement pourtant loué pour une semaine.
  Vulgairement équipé chez IKEA avec les premiers prix, avec pour simple table à manger dans la cuisine, le modèle de base des tables et chaises de jardin inconfortable de chez IKEA…C’est juste horrible…Les placards déglingués et du matériels obsolète dans l’appartement….L’ensemble pour 180€/nuit, incluant des frais délirant de ménage (alors que ce dernier est fait à la va-vite), et à peine un oreillé par personne dans le lit (IKEA) pourvu de deux draps mais ni couette ou couverture à disposition….
