Penthouse Cannes 100m2 avec 2 suites et terrasse 80m2
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places along the Côte d’Azur, but this penthouse on Avenue Justinia really caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You know how most “luxury” rentals oversell themselves? Well, this one actually delivers. The moment you step into those 100 square meters, you get why they’re charging what they’re charging. The space feels bigger than it is, honestly, with these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Mediterranean like it’s a living postcard.
What really sold me was that 80-square-meter terrace. I mean, most Cannes properties give you a tiny balcony and call it outdoor space, but this? You could host a proper dinner party out there. I spent most mornings with coffee watching the early joggers on the Croisette below – you’re close enough to feel connected to the action but far enough up to escape the tourist chaos. The La Californie neighborhood is sort of Cannes’ best-kept secret anyway; it’s where locals actually live, not just where they work. You’ll find yourself walking down to the Plage du Midi instead of fighting crowds at the main beaches, which honestly has better swimming anyway.
The two suites thing isn’t just marketing speak either – they’re genuinely separate spaces, so if you’re traveling with friends or family, nobody’s sleeping on a sofa bed. The kitchen actually works (you’d be surprised how many rentals have gorgeous kitchens that are missing, like, a can opener), and there’s this little wine fridge that came stocked with local rosé. Small touch, but it matters. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – I’d recommend asking about the garage situation when you book because street parking is… well, it’s Cannes in summer, you know? The building itself is quiet though, which you don’t always get this close to the center. I never heard neighbors, even during the Film Festival craziness when the whole city turns into one big party.
If I’m being completely honest, the only minor thing is that the Wi-Fi gets a bit spotty on the terrace, but honestly, if you’re working from that view, you might want to reassess your priorities anyway. The whole place has this lived-in luxury feel – like someone’s gorgeous home that they happen to rent out, not some sterile hotel alternative. And that 8.8 rating? Yeah, I get it. It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your next Cannes trip before you’ve even checked out.
