You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like some corporate apartment complex, but honestly, it’s one of those hidden gems that locals probably wish tourists wouldn’t discover. I stumbled across Résidence piscine vue mer parking when I was tired of the overpriced hotels closer to the Croisette, and I’m so glad I did.

The location on Avenue Amiral Wester Wemyss is actually perfect if you know Cannes at all – you’re far enough from the chaos of the film festival crowds but close enough that you can walk to the good stuff without breaking a sweat. I mean, you’re maybe a 15-minute stroll to the Palais des Festivals, but here’s the thing: you get actual parking (which, if you’ve ever driven in Cannes, you know is basically like finding treasure). The apartment I stayed in had this gorgeous sea view from the balcony where I’d have my morning coffee – you can see the Mediterranean stretching out toward the Îles de Lérins, and honestly, it never got old. The pool area is small but never crowded, probably because most tourists don’t even know this place exists. I’d often have it to myself in the late afternoons when the light hits the water just right.

What really impressed me was how functional everything felt – like, this isn’t trying to be some fancy resort, it’s just a really well-thought-out place to stay. The apartment sleeps four comfortably (I was there with friends), and the kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab fresh stuff from the Marché Forville and cook instead of eating out every night. The building itself is pretty quiet too – I was worried about noise since Cannes can get pretty rowdy, but the street is residential enough that you actually get decent sleep. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that pretentious hotel desk drama. And look, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or anything, but everything works well and feels clean and modern. The Wi-Fi is solid (I worked from there a couple days), and there’s good air conditioning, which you’ll definitely want if you’re there in summer. I think what I loved most was how it felt like staying in a real neighborhood – there’s a little café down the street where the owner remembers your order, and you’re close enough to the Super U to grab groceries without it being a whole expedition.
