You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from this place at first – I mean, Rue d’Antibes can be pretty hit-or-miss with all the tourist traps – but this little apartment actually surprised me. The terrace is what sold me, honestly. It’s not huge, but it catches the morning sun perfectly, and you can sit out there with your coffee watching the street come alive below. The apartment itself is bright (they weren’t kidding about that part), with these big windows that let in tons of light. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room, which I really appreciated.

What I loved most was the location – you’re right in the thick of things but not overwhelmed by it. The building entrance is tucked away enough that you don’t get the constant street noise, but step outside and you’re literally a two-minute walk from all the good stuff on Rue d’Antibes. There’s this little bakery just around the corner that does incredible pain au chocolat (I may have gone there every morning), and the covered market at Forville is close enough that you can actually shop for groceries if you want to use that little kitchenette. The beach is maybe a ten-minute walk – not the fancy hotel beaches, but the public ones where real people go, which I actually prefer.

Here’s the thing though – parking can be a bit of a nightmare around there, especially during festival season. I’d honestly recommend just using the public transport or walking everywhere once you arrive. The train station isn’t far if you’re coming from Nice or Monaco, and getting around Cannes on foot is half the fun anyway. The check-in was smooth enough, though you do need to coordinate with the property manager since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. Oh, and fair warning – the stairs up to the apartment aren’t exactly ancient, but they’re not modern either, so if you’re hauling huge suitcases, just mentally prepare yourself. But once you’re up there, the space feels surprisingly roomy for the price point. The rating of 8.7 seems about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable, clean, and the terrace really does make it special. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel like I was actually living in Cannes for a few days rather than just passing through.
