Sea View Cannes Croisette in Front of the Sea

Honestly, when I first walked into Sea View Cannes Croisette, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place right on Boulevard de la Croisette – I mean, you know how it is with Cannes hotels, they can be pretty hit or miss. But this little spot actually surprised me in the best way. The location is ridiculous (in a good way) – you’re literally steps from the beach, and I’m talking about the prime stretch of La Croisette where all the action happens during the film festival. The building itself has that classic French Riviera charm without trying too hard, and the lobby has this relaxed vibe that immediately made me feel like I wasn’t going to get ripped off for every little thing.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about making your stay decent. The woman at reception – I think her name was Marie – gave me insider tips about which beach clubs weren’t total tourist traps and warned me that the street gets pretty lively (read: loud) during festival season, but honestly, that’s part of the Cannes experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but they’ve got everything you need, and if you score one of the sea-facing rooms, the view is absolutely worth it. I could see the Palais des Festivals from my window, which was kind of surreal. The bathroom was recently updated too – small but modern, with decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on in older French hotels.

You know what I really appreciated? The little things that show they get it. There’s a proper coffee machine in the lobby that’s available 24/7 (not some instant nonsense), and they have these local maps with handwritten notes about the best spots for breakfast away from the touristy areas. Walking to the old town takes about fifteen minutes along the harbor, and you’ll pass some great little cafés that the concierge actually recommended – not just the obvious expensive ones. The hotel doesn’t have parking, but there’s a public garage just two blocks away on Rue d’Antibes, and they’ll give you a discount card for it. During peak season it gets busy (obviously), but in the shoulder months it’s this perfect balance of lively but not chaotic. The 8.5 rating makes total sense – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises, which in Cannes is honestly refreshing.

  la nostra vacanza è andata molto bene, la posizione è fantastica ideale per chi ha bambini perchè è a due minuti dalla spiaggia.
  Si trova al terzo piano con ascensore, in una parte della città molto tranquilla con dei giardini che precedono la spiaggia puliti e curati.
  Nel viale alberato sotto casa il parcheggio è gratuito, purtroppo non è semplice trovare posto , comunque nelle vicinanze c'è un altro parcheggio sempre gratuito.
  La Croisette dista circa 20 minuti di passeggiata a piedi, meno se si hanno le biciclette.
  La vista dall'ampio terrazzo è deliziosa, si può cenare se il caldo lo consente.
  La camera da letto ed il soggiorno sono climatizzati, purtroppo la cucina no ed è un peccato perchè picchia il sole.
  Anche se la cucina è datata ne abbiamo apprezzato elettrodomestici nuovi e ampio frigorifero.
  Il personale che ci ha accolto è davvero gentile e competente, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio .
  L'unico aspetto da migliorare sono le pulizie, perchè dentro gli armadi e all'interno dei cassetti cucina, la pulizia lascia a desiderare, la persona che si occupa di queste mansioni deve essere più attenta e precisa .
  A parte questo aspetto, tutto il resto è di gradimento! Consigliamo certamente.
