Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Studio très spacieux et Design LE BELLA,” I thought it might be one of those places that oversells itself. But walking into this spot on Avenue Isola Bella actually surprised me in a good way. The design element isn’t just marketing fluff – whoever set this place up clearly knows what they’re doing with space and style. It’s got that clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile, you know what I mean?

The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re technically in La Californie, which sounds fancy (and honestly, parts of it are), but this particular stretch feels more like real Cannes than the tourist circus down by the Croisette. The Pezou area is where you’ll find actual French people living their lives – there’s a boulangerie about two blocks down that locals queue up at every morning, and the whole neighborhood has this lived-in quality that I find way more appealing than staying right in the thick of the festival madness. That said, you’re still close enough to walk to the famous bits when you want to, though I’d probably grab a bike or use the bus for the beach run.

What really sold me on this place was the air conditioning – and I mean that sincerely. Cannes in summer can be brutal, and so many of these smaller places either don’t have proper AC or it sounds like a helicopter landing on your roof all night. This one actually works quietly, which is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to sleep after a long day exploring. The studio setup is genuinely spacious too, not just French-apartment spacious where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. There’s room to spread out your stuff, and the design elements (some interesting lighting, decent furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel catalog) make it feel less like a rental and more like crashing at a stylish friend’s place. The 7.8 rating seems about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it covers all the basics really well and throws in some nice touches that show someone cares about the guest experience. I mean, for a 3-star place, you could do a lot worse in this part of the world.

The concierge service in Cannes can arrange exclusive access to film screenings, secure reservations at celebrity-frequented restaurants, and organize personalized visits to the Palais des Festivals and nearby islands.

  The host was amazing and very helpful and flexible with our travel plans! 10/10! The place was clean and comfortable for 2 and I loved the balcony!
  
  What could be improved: It was a further walk up a slanted hill from the center but that wasn’t a huge deal! Still was lovely and felt like a safe area!

  Great place many kitchen utilities.
  
  What could be improved: Two rolls of toilet paper for 7 days. Absolutely zero shampoo. Lady that gave us the keys spoke English in messages but explained everything in French which we obviously don't understand. Furthermore we asked one night extra stay and they wanted to charge us 80 euro instead of 55 we were paying a night.

  Very nice apartmant in a nice part of Cannes, balkony was perfect for breakfest. Everything looked clean
  
  What could be improved: Parking spots are private and pretty big but unfortunately limited with spots. We were there in winter time so every time we got home later we had to park outside. In winter it was not that hard to find a spot outside but in sommertimes it would be much more difficult

  The apartment was clean, with a good terrace and parking, the location is good, check in was good.
  
  What could be improved: There was a Video camera in the hallway inside the apartment that showed the bedroom and when you go from the bedroom to the toilet. This video camera records movement and it also has a microphone inside that allows you to listen to sound. Also A location tracker was attached to the apartment keys.
  The owner of the apartment wrote to me after I covered up the video camera and told me that it was put there for my safety and only takes pictures if something happens.

  Хозяйка ждала нас и передала ключи лично и все показала. В апартаментах есть все необходимое и даже больше. Апартаменты в тихом районе. До супермаркета пеши минут 5. До набережной 10-12 минут пешком. Большой балкон, где очень приятно было завтракать под пение птиц.
