Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places along the Croisette, and this T3 apartment honestly surprised me in the best way. You know what I mean when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, this is actually nice” instead of just acceptable? That’s what happened here. The apartment sits on the second floor of one of those classic Cannes buildings at number 68 – and I mean, you’re literally on THE boulevard where all the festival madness happens, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or overly fancy inside.
The sea view is legit, not one of those “if you crane your neck and squint” situations. From the living room windows, you’re looking straight out at the Mediterranean, and honestly, watching the morning light hit the water while having coffee became my favorite part of each day. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a hotel – there’s actual character here, with thoughtful touches that someone clearly put effort into. The kitchen is properly equipped (I actually cooked a few meals, which you rarely want to do in vacation rentals), and the bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other constantly. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re right in the thick of everything. I guess being on the second floor hits that sweet spot where you’re above the street noise but not dealing with elevator sounds all night.
Here’s the thing about this location – yes, you’re paying for the Croisette address, but you’re also getting the real deal. Walk five minutes east and you’re at the Palais des Festivals, walk five minutes west and you hit some of the better beach clubs that aren’t completely overrun with tourists. The building entrance is actually pretty discreet, which I appreciated – no flashy signage or doormen making you feel like you need to dress up just to grab groceries. Parking can be tricky (welcome to Cannes), but there’s a public garage literally two blocks away, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you barely need a car anyway. The neighborhood has this perfect mix where you can grab amazing pastries at the little boulangerie around the corner on Rue d’Antibes, but you’re also close enough to the fancy stuff if that’s your scene. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that feels like you discovered something good rather than just booked something convenient.
